So, an all-perfect, all-powerful, all-knowing god, that created man, (whose nature it is to be inquisitive and question things) devised this method for spreading the good word? A book written thousands of years ago full of contradictions, that there's no way we can verify anything, especially now during a time when it is coming to light that we've been lied to about our history by a manipulative establishment that was the same establishment then...and we'll burn in hell forever if we don't believe it? What kind of all-perfect plan is that? I think an all-perfect god would never "confuse the languages" thus dividing humanity (if the Babel story is to be believed). How is dividing humanity supposed to help? And you wonder why people call it hogwash...

Because it is a bronze age mythbook, passed on oraly by a bunch of illiterate nomadic savages until a few civilised scolars in ptolomaic Egypt botherd to write it down.
