4. Absolutely .... because I think as an atheist you have Your metaphysics wrong, that doesn't mean you can't have Your ethics right ....
1. So, if you either don't know, or do not share in the objective criteria, how would you judge such a thing? If no one knows what those objective criteria might be, do we have to take it on faith that they exist?
2. We'd know because human ethical standards have evolved to the point where human sacrifice is universally accepted to be wrong.
3. Nature doesn't have an eternal immutable form that can be pinpointed. It is in a constant state of flux, even fundamental forces such as gravity alter according to circumstances.
4. So, in order to be an ethical atheist you have to accept the values placed in things according to God's criteria? That doesn't make a lot of sense.
