The Deity of Jesus Christ in Scripture « The Righter Report

Have you read those scriptures? No you haven't, i know you haven't otherwise you wouldn't post them With those rediculous claims.

Here's the Trinity from Acts chapter 7:

55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit (God), looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God (the Father), and Jesus (God the Son) standing at the right hand of God (the Father). 56 “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

That isn't the Trinity ... that is the Son of man sitting at the right had of God ....

No you are Wrong.

After Christ's baptism God the father comes in the form of a Dove and says this is my Son in whom i am well pleased. When Satan Temps Christ in the wilderness He refers to him as the Son of God.

during christs accession into heaven he says he will send a helper that is greater than he. This is the holy Spirit.

Christ is 1 aspect of the God head which consists fo God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

no it isn't calling Jesus a Liar. it is supporting his claim of divinity.

I shared Jesus' own words and you reject them for teachings of men. Not what a true follower does.

no you shared your interpritation of what Christ said there is a difference. I reject your interpritation which is exactly what a true follower does when
they hear something that is not biblical.

Christ is part of the God head. he even you and I are one even as Me and the Father are one.

To say that Christ was not who he said He was is to not believe Jesus' own words which is not what a true follower does.

Se are we part of the one Human head?

Your conclusions are nonsense.

That isn't the Trinity ... that is the Son of man sitting at the right had of God ....

You don't even know who the Son of Man is, do you?

Fast forward to the Book of Daniel, which was written at a time when the “son of man” phrase had a specific and known meaning. In the context of Daniel 7:13, where one "like a son of man" comes to the Ancient of Days (God the Father) and is given dominion and sovereign power and universal worship of the sort that God alone possesses, the significance of Jesus' "son of man" usage cannot be overstated. It is functionally equivalent to saying that the one like a son of man is rightful heir and successor to the divine throne. "Son of man" is essentially the same as "Son of God" in this context. And if the person in Daniel 7:13-14 is only someone “like” a son of man, then it certainly implies there must be some differences. Otherwise it would say something like, “A son of man” came before the Ancient of Days.”

AND THIS IS CONFIRMED in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 26:

The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."

64 "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

65 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has spoken blasphemy!

What was the blasphemy if Jesus were just a mere man?

Jesus was clearly referring to Daniel 7:13 - "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven."

Jesus was, in effect, claiming to be the fulfillment of Daniel's "son of man" prophecy.

And then from the Gospel of Luke: Then Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." Only God is Lord of the Sabbath.

You're busted!

How can you say what Jesus taught is not right? Where did Jesus say--I am God? He never did.

Yes things had to be given to Jesus, because they were not his to start with--they were Gods alone and he shared with Jesus his son.

How can you say what Jesus taught is not right? Where did Jesus say--I am God? He never did.

I am not saying that. That is a strawman. i am saying what you said is not correct.
I said Christ is part of the God head which he is. God the Father, God the Son (Christ), The Holy Spirit.

Logic is correct while Christ was on earth he was the Son of Man.

There is no trinity-- The greeks refused to go to a religion with a single being mono God, a false god worshipping king headed Catholicism councils. They twisted it into being a trinity--refused to let anyone read the bible, except in latin( only clergy). After about 1000 years, no one had a clue as to truth, just what clergy taught. Finally under the guise of heresy, trinity translators erred in various places to try and show a trinity, But Jesus and Paul both taught--The Father is the only God. Truth could not be hidden, that's if one believes Jesus' truths over mens twistings.

Yes things had to be given to Jesus, because they were not his to start with--they were Gods alone and he shared with Jesus his son.

They were given back to him. From Philippians chapter 2:

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

Have you ever read the Bible?

Yes I have-- The words of Gods son-- John 17:1-6--The one who sent Jesus= THE ONLY TRUE GOD-- John 5:30--the Father sent Jesus--this is in prayer to the Father at John--- verse 6 = YHWH(Jehovah)
The words of Gods son-- John 20:17, rev 3:12--- matched by Paul at 1 Corinthians 11:12-15, 1 cor 8:6
The words of Gods son--The lords prayer--hallowed be thy name( YHWH(Jehovah) --The kingdom, power and glory all belong to the Father( YHWH(Jehovah)

These true teachings are in every translation on the planet--Gods word is in harmony with the teachings of Jesus. The NWT is in Harmony--the others are not. The errors have been proven in trinity translations--otherwise it would be teaching 2 different Gods--a single being mono God or a trinity God. And since every well known servant of the true God served a single being mono God-- Jesus teachings are truth= 0 trinity god in existence.

EPIC Fail

God the father says this is my Son in whom I am well pleased. So we have God the Father, and now we have God the Son. Next We have Christ saying before he leaves that he will send a helper which is the Holy Spirit.

So we have God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit.

they didn't error there is clearly a trinity.
the fact that you don't acknowledge this doesn't change the fact.

You don't learn. So it'd be a waste of time.

It would show People once and for all that you can ACTUALLY defend Your positions from the scriptures (which you can't).

You don't even know who the Son of Man is, do you?

(Nice Copy and paste). Yes I do know who the son of man is, and I can talk about it myself, not just copy and paste from some website citing scriptures I haven't read. (you are so transparent).

1. The Ancient of Days is not God the father .... it's GOD, Yahweh, en toto. The Son of man is given dominion and sovereign power, yes, BY GOD ... and given worship (proskenau) ... NOT sacred service (latreau) which only belongs to Yahweh. (lots of People get worship in the bible that are not God).

Btw it does say, "someone like a Son of Man" .... that's what the Aramaic says.

2. He was refering to Psalms 110:1 as well as Daniel 7 ....

It was not blasphemy (I don't know why you assume that the high priest was an honest actor here), he was claiming to be the messiah, and the high priest didn't like that .... Jew's were not expecting the messiah to be God incarnate, no one interperated Daniel 7 or Pslams 110:1 that way, InFact it's IMPOSSIBLE to interperate those scriptures that way.

In Daniel 7 the son of man is presented before God and God gives him Powers, this is re-told in 1 Corinthians 15:

24 Then comes the end,[g] when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, after he has destroyed every ruler and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For “God[h] has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is plain that this does not include the one who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that God may be all in all.

It's simply impossible to interperate any of these verses as saying Jesus is Yahweh, none of them say that.

Also The son of man is the lord of the Sabbath .... not only God, that's what Jesus was saying .... stop adding stuff to scripture that isn't there.

Now maybe actually read what I posted, read the scriptures and engage With them rather than just copying and pasting from some apologist website you haven't read.

By YHWH(Jehovah--saying--this is my son the beloved---in no way shape or form is saying Jesus is God--only by twisting. Jesus has a God--God does not have a God--this is reality.

really? Where ...

So if I say about my own son (assuming I had a son) This is my son, whome I have approved, or whome is beloved ... then obviously I'm saying that me and my son are one being and part of 1 man head????

God is not you. God is a spiritual being that has no form.

As Christ told his disciples you and i are 1 just as me and the Father are 1. meaning 1 in spirit.

No, God is not me, but when he uses Language in the scriptures, it means what he said.

1 in spirit ... yes, not ontologically ....I'm 1 With Christ ... doesn't mean I'm part of a God head.

You aren't but Christ is part of the God head. So is the holy spirit. it is part of the God head as well.

of course i am talking to a person that doesn't know what covetous means either so there you have that.
