As long as they believe in christ they are saved right?

Well, if you believe in Catholicism (or related religion), then, ultimately, they would be either saved or let to burn in hell.

That said, whatever goes on in the afterlife, I don't imaging that "evil" souls would have a drastically different experience, though, i figure that based on karmic rules that these evil souls would rebalance themselves by volunteering as victims in their next life.

As long as they are indeed sorry for their sins and their crimes and there lives are fully changed as a result then yes.

If you need an example the murderer on the cross next to Christ. Christ told him that he would meet him in paradise. He was a murderer a theif and probably mix a few other things in there as well. yet he was still saved.

So yes it is possible.

he is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrightousness.

Actually they were both just thieves, but your point still stands.

It all depends on the view point of someone. As a theist I don't believe in hell, people go to heaven.

Heaven as defined by my belief = Anything the person wants (even if it is lack of a heaven, simply blank, or reincarnation, their wish is granted as God's spoiled child).

My God is a little too compassionate and loving to even think about making a hell.

One of the related videos to that video is a full episode of family guy lol. The voices are higher pitched and it hasn't gotten take down. So you can just change the voice a tiny bit and it suddenly is legal? LOL, all the family guy for free is mine (even though I have it on HULU).

It is the practice of sin that God hates. In most instances murderers and rapist usually do not make a practice of it. If anyone truly repents they will be forgiven( stopping the doing of the sin)
In rev murderers are listed along with liars as cowards.
Only repented sin is forgiven-Acts 3:19, Hebrews 10:26, Matt 7:21-23( judgement time)

Only if they are repentant.

And being repentant is a bit more complicated that most realize.

"I'll repent on my death bed" some say... really? I doubt many will be able to... a lifetime spent living one way does not lend itself to a genuine change of heart at the last minute.

you really don't read what people write do you?
Rapists and murderers can make it to heaven Christ proved this on the cross. That salvation is for everyone that repents.

Murderer and Thief on the cross says otherwise.

Good point. However, that it is possible in some cases does not mean it is likely to be commonplace.

The critical word is "genuine."

The only unforgivable sin in Christianity is to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Do this and you might as well find a new religion, because you're not getting into Heaven.

I'm not being a wise guy--honest--, but what sort of behavior would be considered blasphemous to the holy spirit?

First, here is a list of variations of the passage, so my interpretation doesn't muck it up:

Mark 3:29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin."

Some have interpreted this to be as simple as denying the existence of God, either out loud or in your mind. If you look on YouTube, you can probably find a large collection of people violating this sin in order to sever ties with Christianity. The Bible clearly states that there is no going back.

Yes repents and do the other 50 or so requirements. And Gods word teaches 144,000 go to heaven--no more-no less.

if that was the original question then i would say that is correct, but the original question was do murderers and rapists go to heaven. the answer is yes they can.

ahh you are one of christ of latter day saints. that is why you have the distortion that you do.

No there are not 50 other requirements. There is 1 requirement. Accept Christ as your savior with a repentful and meaningful heart.
No God word does not teach that only 144k will go to heaven. the book of revelation cleary says that it is 144k of every tribe of Israel.

there are 11 tribes of israel so if you take that litterly that is 1.5m people.

so lets continue and build. before Christs death israel was God's chosen people. after Christs death christians became Gods people as well.
so in the book of revelation when it says the people of israel it includes christians in that.

so when he starts saying that 144k of every tribe instead of taking it litterly figuratively it could just symbolize a large group of people.

Exactly. Someone who's rejected God his entire life probably isn't ever going to change his mind no matter how many chances He gives.

Obviously you don't know Jesus' truths--how can one be a follower if they don't know Jesus' truths?
The Israelite religion is cut off-forever Matt 23:37-38--they must leave and go to the religion Jesus started and accept Jesus as the messiah or they have 0 chance. The Israelite religion has rejected Jesus for over 1970 years or so.

Accept Christ as your savior---- well Jesus taught--Matt 7:21-23--- These accept Jesus as savior--it did them no good.

I worship and serve YHWH(Jehovah) as the only true God--I bow in obeisance to my king Jesus.
