Is Hagee Correct with his assertion that stay-at-home dads will go to hell?

Hagee is a carnival barker. He uses religion as a way to not only make money but to feed his massive ego. He will do and say anything and he has the intellect of a slug.

But those defending him sound like they just walked out of the HeMan Woman haters club. Geez.

His theology is wrong. Doing the wrong thing doesn't send you to hell.

In terms of philosophy, culture and tradition the sentiment that he is portraying is identical to what I was taught. The sentiment that he is portraying is consistent with scripture and consistent with Protestant Tradition especially post 1950 thought.

It is adorable if a woman wants to be a housewife or a stay at home mom. If grandma wants to retire to spend times with the grandchild people respond, "I don't blame you." When a man doesn't work it's because he is worthless and good for nothing. When a man retires people respond, "What are you going to do with yourself?" I don't think the church is the only guilty party that places an unfair burden upon men.

The economy and the culture is changing. It is very possible for a woman to have the capacity to earn double what her husband can earn. Many people are being laid off. The husband might just be working for a company that laid him off while the wife didn't.

God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore and doesn't change. I hate God. I hate the church. I hate this bull s*** tradition. This accurate Biblical teaching proves that God is completely made up. Otherwise a man's obedience to scripture is dependent upon outside factors beyond the individual's control. It's complete horse s***.

In context Hagee was not talking about stay-at-home dads who do domestic chores and help their wives out. He specifically said that if all they do is sit on their backsides....

In other words, they don't work, they don't look for work, they don't help out at home, they do nothing except sit on their butts.

Whether they wind up in Hell for that I don't know. I also don't know if he's a god-hater or not. But I do know the God-haters will not fare well at the Judgment.
