Did Jesus look like this:

Or like this:

Considering Judas had to point out who he was to the Roman soldiers, in a crowd of people who looked like the former...I'm going with the first picture.

I'm thinking more like this.

The answer is probably like you're average palestinian Jew in the first Century ... more importantly who cares ... it doesn't matter at all what he looked like.

Nothing in the Bible really gives a detailed description how He looks like. The verse from Isaiah suggests that there's nothing about His outside appearance that would draw people to Him. I suppose that means He was not handsome. He didn't have the advantage of good looks to attract followers.

Isaiah 53

53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Good points. I suspect growing up as a carpenter, and more likely a stone forager and crafter gave him a hardness and strength that in turn roughened his appearance. Most likely he he was of a much more solid appearance that the withering figure we typically see hanging on the cross. Gathering a lot that was not easily intimidated, such as fishermen, centurions, taxmen, and others, he must have had an appearance that displayed the ability to "kick some ass." Yet, he had a good heart which drew to him many others.
