Assuming a creator is good is the only thing that makes any sense. Do you not hope for truth and justice to eventually prevail in the evil mess that is our world and life? Truth and justice are the attributes of God.
Your own idea of good and evil is flawed, as is that of every other living human. WE are finite in our reasoning. God is not.
Perfect good makes sense.
You come at this ever from the perspective that God is evil.
Let yourself embrace some idea of good in God.
He has given you and everyone a way to live with him in eternity, which is called heaven. He will wipe away every tear. He will love you as you've never understood love before. He gave his son as a ransom for your and my sin. To pay a price we could not pay short of judgement.
This is very good news for us. God is good to us when we did not deserve it.
Is Christ not good enough for you Blarg?
Whys it make sense to assume a creator is good ....other then defining good as what ever the creator happens to want?
and truth doesn't prevail it simply is whether people now it or not.
and justice is also subjective and I cant expect it to prevail under you god, Because infinite punishments for finite or no harm doesn't seem just.
it really seems like good and justice are what ever you happen to want them to be, and you believe in your god so you can believe you will get them and so you can believe that what you want is good and just for every one else to.
your god is not necessarily real and your reasoning is also not perfect
a god is not necessarily evil, your god is evil to me but that's subjective it is also subjectively good as its good in your opinion
it doesn't actually make god all that good that he gives us what he built us to like as are desires are then just constructs and not objectively needed
it is evil to build surfing into people and to then force it on them for no other purpose then god pleasing itself
it benefits no one to do that
ther was no sin or price to pay till the god declared ther was.
