Why are you faithful ?

Why ?

and just to add, I find it annoying as shiit when my mum says you should do this especially with eating meat, no disrespect for her of course like obviously no eating meat in the house =/ It's like she doesn't really understand I'M GROWING UP so what's wrong with me following my own beliefs by at least being allowed meat outside !!

Because Catholicism didn't work due me any longer hi disagreed with much of their dogma.

Sorry but just have to be honest I have no clue what Jain is

Jainism is a religion...

Okay. I tried to be kind with you, hinting that you should read the forum rules. Apparently, that did not work, so I will link them for you, and highlight what I tried to guide you to.

Debate Politics Forums - Forum Rules

It doesn't appear that it's a mod who doesn't notice things here.

Sorry, um are you okay ?Please don't read into this cos I'm not trying to be...

Moderator's Warning:
Somebody, not naming any names but his initials are Sparklet, needs to mind his manners and read the rules here... mmmkay? And don't respond to a mod box like you were just thinking of doing, since that is one of the rules.

I gathered that much, but I am not familiar with it.

Did you know that strict Jains don't even eat vegetables grown underground ? Could you live without potatoes ?

Because there's no evidence for anything. As an agnostic I believe this.=]

So what do you believe ?

I'm an agnostic myself (actually an agnostic-theist) and I even I with all my skepticism of metaphysics believe something much more powerful than I can comprehend exist (enter Spinoza's God).

If I am capable of grasping God objectively, I do not believe, but precisely because I cannot do this I must believe.

-- Kierkegaard

A better way to word the question would be why do I believe? I cannot produce the evidence that God is unless you could see with in my Soul. It is known and confirmed there that God is real and he abides with in my Soul. To know this one has to give their Soul to Christ with total abandon. You then know for sure when you are able to commune through the Holy Spirit with God.

This ability to know, can only be confirmed by Individuals who have experienced it, therefore it is subjective and not related Empirically with others unless they have experienced it. The so called "Walk with God" is on a personal spiritual level and although the written path to begin the process is translated in the Bible, one has to experience it through a nutured process with dedication and study to acquire it.
