This is futile and I have no time, so, "Whatever...", Tosca1's husband

Why is it the same God? What's the evidence for that assertion?

Everything points against it, one being metaphysical (You can't be with someone and be someone at the same time),

This is tosca1 now. I stopped reading right there! That sums you all up.

How can you argue about Jesus not being God when you don't even know and understand God!

Does the descriptions, omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent mean anything to you?

FYI, God is not "someone."

God is Spirit (John 4:24).

Re-read your convoluted statement above.

You don't believe God is a person?

Also read the whole point, there are 2 equally valid ways to translate John 1:1 one is a god the other is just god, choosing the claim that both times god is used it's referin to the same being is a theological assumption, it isn't justified by the text, and there are many reasons to believe it isn't refering to the same being.

Is it a valid comparison to compare Jesus to Mohammed? One being a desert warlord, the other a god?

well, Jesus was the greatest prophet apart from Mohammed according to Islam, so you could say they were both prophets .... Jesus is highly respected in Islam, but I don't think he is ever compared to mohammed.

in Christianity, Jesus is the son of God. He brings God's message and performs miracles. He attracts many followers, but does not leave a written text.

In Islam, Mohammed is a messenger of God. He doesn't perform miracles, but I understand that miraculous things attributed to God do happen to assist him. He attracts many followers, and does leave a written text.
