The Beast Revelation

But John Prewett (above) seems to indicate that the beast is a supposedly dead person, who is not really dead at all.....not a world power..

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while.
11 Concerning the beast who was, and is not, he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to destruction. Rev 17

So the Beast is a king and a king is always a man. A man who "was, and is not" ........

verse 8: Those who dwell on the earth whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and is to come. Rev 17

Note the "WAS, and IS NOT, and IS TO COME"

of course a king must have a kingdom, as a kingdom must have a king
