See it pays to read beyond the title, otherwise you end up looking foolish and ignorant.
Continually suggesting people you disagree with are foolish and ignorant, is just foolish and ignorant.
Me not responding means it's a waste of my time and/or I don't play stupid games. I read it, eye-rolled, and moved on.

I celebrate Christmas because I am a Christian and it is the day that we observe the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Other holidays generally don't bother me in the slightest. Well, the hypocrisy of celebrating Thanksgiving and then immediately trampling over people for on-sale electronics admittedly bothers me (in a mostly humorous way), but otherwise people have their own backgrounds, heritages, and reasons to celebrate certain holidays, and that's cool.
Agreed. I remember back in elementary school I had a class mate named Shamash. I didn't give it much thought because I grew up in a major port city and there were many purple from many places.

But the teacher explained what his name ment and why it was relevant arround Christmas time. It was then it dawned on me the kid named Shamash celebrated a different Holliday than the kid who was named Mohammed and the girl with the last name Patel.

I found that fascinating even back then.

    Blessed Be.
    Thankee kindly.

Although I'm somewhat at a loss over how to properly celebrate the occasion.

I would, seeing how today was already longer, perhaps turn one of the lights on the Christmas tree off but since I don't do Xmas either, I don't have the appropriate tree (or lights) anyway.

Guess by the time reverting to summer time occurs, the energy saving issue will have solved itself all on its own.

It's ironic when you consider that the word holiday comes from the Old English haligdæg.

First I would have to know what that word meant to even begin to think that it's ironic.
