How Religious Ignorance Breeds Progressive Intolerance

ok ill grant that its just

some one who says we should smack every one in the head with hammers is not better then some one who says just the red heads

the added self hatred makes the hatred no less appalling

It's not self-hatred. It's a matter of not meeting the standard, which the Bible states is perfection. Since no one is perfect, then no one meets the standard.

the difference seems academic at best

the you and every one else deserve infinite pain for not acting the way i believe one should problem remains

Please cite the scriptural proof for your claim.

I don't have "performance reviews", I don't work for Microsoft. I have one job: preach the Gospel and administer the Sacraments, which includes feeding and clothing the poor, visiting the sick and imprisoned, and comforting the bereaved, not to mention putting on more than one Church service a week. My job description does not include explaining to cynical atheists just how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, and it really doesn't include seeking the approval of non-believers.

I know that's a bitter pill to swallow, it is for most lay people. But triage is prioritizing who needs the most help first, and people who are refusing help will have to wait.

No problem to me ijm, that you prefer preaching to the converted. If I had no basis for believing something then I would probably adopt the same method of denial. Didn't your Lord prefer to be amongst the unsaved?

As I've said before, I don't do scripture, I just listen to people that do and figure them out based upon what the scripture has added to them. It tends not to add up to much to be honest.

My last estimate was 142 angels but, the research is kind of sketchy until someone actually detects an angel.

Well, here's some more scripture for you, then:

“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you." - Matt. 7:6

What it means is do not offer the Gospel to those who would ridicule, reject, and blaspheme it, and no one matches that description better than the posters on this forum.

if those religions demand things that are against are rights then religious protection is not absolute
Rights are negative in nature, morality is both positive and negative. You are conflating unlike things.
