This joke got me thinking...

"I have no idea why any real Aussie would believe that Jesus will ever return. He was nailed to a cross, not a freaking boomerang!"


How does location alter religious dogma? Think of some cultural adaptations religions incorporated to sell their beliefs to the people they were converting.

Example: Christianity adopted many Pagan symbols in order to better sell their belief system to the Barbarians, most notably transforming the crucifixion stake into a cross.
