Blasphemy laws.

This is the consequences of allowing politicians to pass blatantly unconstitutional laws.

I would like to see every law go through a pass/fail process in the court system before it hit the streets.

That cuts both ways though, because if the law gets reargued or reinstated, then that whole batch legislators gets the can... so we reinstate the previous batch?

I think term limits would do more.

The supreme court rarely reverses itself

Term limits would be an improvement, but the temptation of violating the constitution to appease bigot voters for instance would still remain, so long as there's a ladder to climb. What's to stop some pig state legislator with a term limit from introducing unconstitutional bill in the hopes it will propel him to the governor, US senate, congress, VP etc?

My plan could put a stop to the nonsense in highly gerrymandered state governments throughout the south and midwest

So, every member of Congress who voted for the ACA should be barred and banned after the Hobby Lobby decision. Got it.

Help me here... how do you get that from "some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom"?

The guy in the audio clip from your link just says he likes Mark's telling better. Shall not taste death referred to a mere 6 days later? Then he claims a "miniature snapshot" was what Jesus meant. Are you kidding me?

Do you at least understand the skepticism one would have given such an unsatisfying response?

Yes I understand your skepticism. IMO, Jesus was referring to the 'second death' [after his return and we are judged]
