Pagans the world over should rejoice the xianity has gone to such great lengths, over at least 1400 years, to preserve the myths, ceremonies and rituals of much older Pagan beliefs and myths.

Exactly! One deep wisdom of our culture has been to understand that much or even most of tradition is beneficial and that petty clamour against it is more often destructive.
