Using Islam to vet Refugees

Even if he does not lie, that does not mean he is right.

Why don't you check on it, because it does not mean he is wrong either.

Rule #1: Never trust a man with a bow tie.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”

Vetting people on the basis of their religion crosses the free exercise line. Like both Trump's EO's.

I don't care when that religion sanctions terror. Check your Koran and stop deflecting.

But beneath the rosy assurances from Muslim apologists that Islam is about peace and tolerance lies a much darker reality that better explains the violence and deeply-rooted indifference. Quite simply, the Quran teaches supremacy, hatred and hostility.

Consider the elements that define hate speech:

Drawing a distinction between one’s own identity group and those outside it

Moral comparison based on this distinction

Devaluation or dehumanization of other groups and the personal superiority of one's own

The advocating of different standards of treatment based on identity group membership

A call to violence against members of other groups

Sadly, and despite the best intentions of many decent people who are Muslim, the Quran qualifies as hate speech on each count.

Link to a hate site that lies about Muslim attacks in many cases (an example has been shown to you time and again) deleted.

Your site is to Muslims as Stormfront is to Jews and Blacks.

Discuss what the article says. Can you prove it is wrong? You can't and will never be able to, remember that.

You don't care about the constitution? Are you sure you want to go with that argument?

I care more about the truth about Islam.

You keep posting links to a site that is nothing but agitprop.

I can pull quotes from the Bible and make Christianity sound evil. Would that make Christianity evil?

Not from the NT, you can't.

The truth about Islam is that the vast majority of Muslims reject terror in the name of Jihad.

The truth about Islam is that it tells adherents to hate and kill non-believers if the do not submit.
Let’s look up Pew polling on Muslim attitudes toward terrorist suicide bombings. Then let’s look up population figures on IndexMundo for Muslim countries in which those polls were taken.

Now, let’s take a peek at the results, ages 15-55:

• Indonesia: Fifteen percent say suicide bombings are sometimes or often justified in defense of Islam. That works out to 8.2 million people in the age group.

• Egypt: Twenty-nine percent say suicide bombings are sometimes or

often justified. That’s 15.5 million.

• Pakistan: Thirteen percent say suicide bombings are sometimes or

often justified — 15.2 million.

• Turkey: Fifteen percent give suicide bombings an affirmative nod as sometimes or often justified. That’s another 7.2 million.

Much higher percentages in the Palestinian territories (Gaza and West Bank) say suicide bombings are sometimes or often justified. Forty percent! That’s 2.3 million in that powder-keg region of the world who seem prepared to rationalize random, indiscriminate acts of terrorism.

That gets us up to 48.4 million Muslims, age 15-55, who don’t necessarily rule out terrorism in defense of their faith. And that’s just four countries and the Palestinian territories.

Almost 50 million and that is just the ME and surrounding area. What about Muslims in other parts of the world?
