many people would in time , obviously, given that their world view and sense of morality comes from God. Do you understand now?

Many kill right now with religion, religion does not seem to stop them. The US is among the most religious western country yet I believe has one of the highest crime rates. Religion does not seem to be stopping crime

Religion in and of itself is corruption.

I consider myself spiritual. I have worked in relgion. There was nothing 'moral' about the politics and the fact it was the only job I needed a lawyer to get what I was owed.

I have been on the council of more than one church, and most I see are a means of employment for people who attend theology factories and get an Mdiv [masters of divinity] along with judgement, arrogance and hypocrisy.

I no longer go to church. I follow the teachings of a humble carpenter. But I have also read other religious books, and when you boil it all down to it's simplest form it means "don't be an asshole." And since making this discovery have found there are many, many assholes in any church, synagogue or mosque.

General social expectations with the force of law behind it. In other words why religion was created and has laws regarding social behaviour

of course almost nobody murders in the USA but rather applies the religious commandment against murder.

According to you, we should be overrun with rampaging atheist murderers. We aren't. Yes, I actually leave the house without fear of seeing an atheist.

trivial compared to an eternity in heaven with loved ones and a loving God besides you throughout life.

why toward 0 rather than 200 million given that most humans are religious and don't murder as religion requires??

this is because they have absorbed religious morality without knowing it. Before religion we were Romans who went to the collusium to watch people being eaten alive for entertainment. When religion took over canon law became civil law. make sense now?

the point is 90% of muslims use religion as a source of love and only a tiny fraction use it to kill.
