As pointed out earlier, the bible proves only how ignorant it's writers were and those who believe in it are.

Well, in North America, the majority of those described above are all xians. To separate them into Westboro, Mormons, Catholics etc does not stay the fact they are all grouped together by their common belief in the same imaginary deity. It does not absolve them of the tyranny they wish to impose upon more clear-thinking individuals.

Not at all. That nicely defines religious beliefs though. Atheism merely says show me. The religious, whichever aspect of mythology they cling to, simply cannot "show us". They never will be able to either. You have been asked several times on various threads to show your beliefs are founded in fact. You have never been able to step up to that mark. Quite the reverse, that is the point where you try diversionary tactics or simply disappear like your imaginary god.

Yes, at all. There is no proof that God doesn't not exist, so that is only based on your own opinion. Atheism says "I believe there is no God because science is unable to prove or disprove the existence of God(despite, of course, the vast quantity of mundane phenomena science still knows little to nothing about) and since that is my opinion therefore God doesn't exist)"

The one whose always pulled the disappearing act is you. Case in point--- the last thread, where you ran away.

I am an atheist. What fact is my opinion? I don't believe in any god(s). Is that an opinion? I don't think so. You can challenge an opinion. You can't challenge that I don't believe in god(s). I don't even know what a god is never mind believe in it.

Double wrong! The pilgrims came here because their fundamentalist asses were kicked out of England but they were still controlled by the crown. The US was created by a secular constitution, not a bible. If they had created a christian state here, the US would be the Western equivalent of Pakistan...a giant, unstable **** hole.

I was brought up Catholic. I questioned it plenty. It made no sense. Just being honest with myself and not caring what others think.

I have no opinion on whether or not there is this thing some call god. I don't believe in it. I don't waste my time pondering the unknowable or the unanswerable for very long.

I don't even know what this god thing is supposed to be, so I don't what it is other's claim they believe in. God is a word without meaning to me.

They talk to themselves and accept ideas without any evidence....not very smart if considering anything other than god. So why is thinking that way about god any different?
