The Worldwide purge continues. While in the West, Islam [is allowed] to be the "fastest growing religion," as it unwittingly and hypocritically claims, 'Arab Spring' ended up as 'Nuclear Winter' for Christians. As if things weren't bad enough already.

Nine of the 10 countries with the worst records for persecution of Christians have populations that are at least 50% Muslim, according to the assessment of persecution in the Open Doors USA's World Watch List (WWL) 2015 and population information published by the State Department and the CIA.".."

Communist North Korea topped the list for the 13th consecutive year for the regime’s extreme persecution of Christians. But the other 9 countries among the 10 worst had Muslim populations of 50% or greater and were cited for “Islamic extremism” as a main cause for the persecution of Christians.

“Approximately 100 million Christians are persecuted worldwide, making them one of the most persecuted religious groups in the world,” said an Open Doors statement announcing the report. Islamic extremism is the main source of persecution in 40 of the 50 countries on the 2015 World Watch List.”

Somalia, which ranks Second on the list, has a “large majority” of Sunni Muslims, according to the State Department. The CIA World Factbook list Sunni Islam as the "official" religion of the country, and the Pew Research Center estimates a 99.8% Muslim population.

Iraq and Syria are third and fourth on the list with Muslim populations of 99% and 87% respectively, according to the CIA’s World Factbook. “Violence against Christians by the Islamic State and other Islamic terrorist groups increased in countries like Iraq and Syria. More than 70% of Christians have fled Iraq since 2003, and more than 700,000 Christians have left Syria since the civil war began in 2011,” according to Open Doors.

Afghanistan, which is fifth on the persecution list, has an 80% Muslim majority, according to the CIA. Sudan, according to the CIA is Sunni Muslim with a "small Christian minority. The United Nations Development Programme estimates the Muslim population at 97%. Iran (which is 99.4%) and Pakistan (96.4%..) are seventh and eighth on the list.

The final two countries among the 10 worst for persecuting Christians each have Muslim populations of 50%. In Eritrea 50% of the population is Sunni Muslim, 30% is Orthodox Christian, and 13% is Roman Catholic, according to the State Department. Nigeria is 50% Muslim, 40% Christian, and 10% “indigenous beliefs,” according to the CIA.." [......]

We did not do our jobs and thus the situation deteriorated throughout the region. So it goes.

Yes, there are people facing very real persecution and yet I bet the major concern for many who read this thread will be supposed "Islamaphobia".

“Approximately 100 million Christians are persecuted worldwide, making them one of the most persecuted religious groups in the world,”

And a western liberal propaganda smear campaign against them too..

Shockingly, using religion as an excuse for conquest has backfired. Surprisingly, encouraging ethnic division in third world countries(divide and conquer, after all--- and England would be a case in point) hasn't turned out well either. Who woulda thunk?

I was wondering which member of the don't-blame-Islam club would be the first to blame the victims. We have a winner.

You must live in a perpetual state of perplexed outrage, seeing as you can't seem to understand the concept of things which happened long ago motivating actions today.

The Europeans taught the peoples of Africa, Asia and Middle East a certain way of doing things. All they are doing is following in their former rulers' footsteps.

Right. Muslims lived in peace until those nasty Frenchmen stopped them from invading Europe in 732. Seriously man, that was probably the most ridiculous post I've ever seen here, and that's saying something.

I hate to break it to you bud, but almost every religion has expanded by the sword over the years. Save your faux moral outrage.

Guess who else was raiding into Europe in the years following? The Vikings, every steppe tribe under the sun......

This wasn't even close to outside of the norm.

But historical ignorance makes it easier to condemn one group of people for doing what they all do.

So, to be clear, far from condemning it, you're going to justify and excuse it.

This is complete BS.
Not only Liberal PC Garbage, but historically Inaccurate.
There were the Romans, The EGYPTIANS starting 5000 Years ago, conquering all over the place, and too many more to name. 'Japanese' genociding the Native Ainu - and thousands more examples in Africa alone we'll never even know about.

Intra-species competition is/was/has been the norm for all of nature.
The more 'fit' or adapted, or evolved, usually supplant other subspecies/races if they are in contact.
Those Homo, Human, etc, goups have always wiped out the weaker when given the chance.

In the last 75 years of so, for the first time in the history of nature/evolution/ANY specie, more able [WESTERN CHRISTIAN] human groups have in good part stopped using their competitive advantages. Genocide and Colonialism by First World countries has stopped and reversed.
Even more recently, the Birth Rates of the most advantaged of the Species have plummeted, and along with aid, their cures for diseases (Polio, AIDS, Ebola, Malaria, etc, etc) have let third world group's populations explode.

So, again, for the first time in the Billion+ year history of Evo, the less able are out-reproducing/out-surviving the more able... with their help.
To such a point, that Immigration from those now overpopulated countries/areas/groups is changing the demographic of the First World Western CHRISTIAN countries.

That is the most amazing lesson ever taught by humans. So kind, it may be culturally suicidal and/or dysgenic.

Pointing out why something happens ain't "justifying it". I'm sorry if in your worldview up can't accept the fact that actions cause other actions, but that's the real world for ya. Xin Loy.

Clearly we need to start nuking middle eastern cities to change those demographics, right? Either that or stick those uppity women back in the kitchen making babies.

:roll::roll::roll:

Don't ya think that all those waves of people rolling through killing everything might have created an emphasis on warfare? Especially in an area filled with warring tribes? Just like any other production from a chaotic war zone, whether the Balkans, L.A. or China, violence was a constant and its reflected in those cultural attitudes.

This is utter garbage.

Violence and cruelty towards other human beings is an innate human fault, no single race or ethnicity invented it.

Professors in college actually teach nonsense like this, I saw it myself. Their theory acts like all non-Europeans are dough-brained children just waiting for the grown ups (whites) to show them how to behave.

Don't you realize that is what Muhammad created? Was he the first, no he wasn't but that does not change the fact it was Muslims killing everything in sight in the ME for 400 years before they were challenged in the Crusades.

You have no credibility on the subject with your support of the murder of innocent Americans based on their religion.

You also stated that the Crusades were a "defensive war", so......

Frankly, people like you are more than guilty.

I have all the credibility I need. The facts about reality and human nature are two things you need pointed out to you constantly.

Yeah, most people don't think you need zero credibility.

And just because you want to see innocent Americans killed doesn't mean most people do.

Which "actions" by Christians are causing them to be persecuted by Muslims?

:lamo

You realize this is 2016, right? Are you a time traveler?

People have long memories, and the crusaders(following up by successive waves of colonizers) didn't exact leave a good impression of Christianity.
