The "No True Scotsman Fallacy" fallacy

“There is no compulsion where the religion is concerned.” (Holy Quran: 2/ 256)

“Whoever killed a human being, except as punishment for murder or other villainy in the land, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind; and that whoever saved a human life shall be regarded as having saved all mankind” (Surah 5:32)

You picked two winners there. Verse 2/ 256 is abrogated by the Verse of the sword. And if you read a little farther your quote from the Sura is what the Jews said not Muhammad.

Even Obama has misinterpreted that Sura. Most likely purposely.

Is Jehovah the first and last word in Christianity?

I would say Christ is. But you believe in zero, so why would you care? You need to look at the doctrines of these religions. If you cannot see the huge difference, you have made yourself irrelevant.

“There is no compulsion where the religion is concerned.” (Holy Quran: 2/ 256)

Yet one of God's 99 names is Al Jabbar - The compeller. Go figure.

“Whoever killed a human being, except as punishment for murder or other villainy in the land, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind; and that whoever saved a human life shall be regarded as having saved all mankind” (Surah 5:32)

The context of this is the story of Abel and Cain, and what God told the Jews at the time. Also, note the underlined part. In the Qur'an, "God" at least twice asks the rhetorical question (btw, I find it a lot more human than divine to resort to rhetorical questions), "who commits a greater crime than one who tells a lie concerning God?" A perfect example of a lie is to deny the very essence of Islam, which would be to say that God did not reveal the Qur'an to Mohamed. Mohamed and his followers killed those who told this "lie", and now ISIS etal are resurrecting this aspect of the religion of peace.

Again, the only scholar that counts is Muhammad. Muhammad said jihad was the best of deeds. He said jihad is obligatory.

How seriously Muslims take that is a matter of degree, but does not change what Muhammad said. He is the first and last word in Islam.

And most Muslims interpret the call to jihad to be of internal, personal struggle and not "kill the infidels."

And most Muslims interpret the call to jihad to be of internal, personal struggle and not "kill the infidels."

Even if that were true (which is a different discussion), how does that change the fact that more than enough Muslims also embrace physical jihad to be greatly impacting the world situation?

And most Muslims interpret the call to jihad to be of internal, personal struggle and not "kill the infidels."

That is not true. Why would you perpetuate a lie? Verses about jihad are about violence 97%.

Just like the ones I know.

You can't really know that. The doctrine of Islam sanctions deception and subversion. Just because you think so is not proof, and never will be.

So, what it boils down to is that you are in effect claiming that your knowledge of what the Quran and Muhammad taught, even though you don't read Arabic, is superior and your views more authoritative than all the Islamic imams, scholars, and others, who speak out against terrorism and violence.

It's useless...you're of the attitude that you are right and anyone who says differently is lying.

Jihad: A Misunderstood Concept from Islam - What Jihad is, and is not

Any language the Koran is translated into it is still a call for eternal war. Knowing Arabic to know Islam is propaganda, and an insult, and another lie you choose to perpetuate.

Speaking out against terror is speaking out against Muhammads Islam, which is permissible because it advances Islam by deceit. It is called taqqiyya or kitman.

And when I say I am right I have the Islamic literature to back it up.
Each of the 164 Jihad verses in this list was selected based on how clearly and directly it spoke about Jihad, at least when considered in its immediate context. Most of the listed passages mention a military expedition, fighting, or distributing war spoils. Verses NOT generally listed are those that speak about aspects of Jihad other than the raiding, fighting and looting, such as:

Muhammad's poor opinion of those who did not go on Jihad, even though they were able-bodied and able financially (for instance, some verses in K 009:081-096),
The heavenly rewards for Jihadists, and
The many generic mentions of "victory" found in the Koran.

The paranoia is strong here. You don't know any of my Muslim friends.

It is not paranoia when people die everyday for the advancement of Islam. And I do not want to know anyone who adheres to such a vile religion/ideology.

You don't have a clue.

Perhaps he enjoys point out where you are blatantly wrong.

Wrong about what? Please tell me which of the following is false:

- Verses in the Qur'an tell Muslims to fight infidels.
- Hadiths quote Mohamed telling Muslims to fight.
- Mohamed made war.
- Today's militants are trying to emulate Mohamed.

The number of Muslims NOT doing that are irrelevant.

You cannot be serious.

Hmmmmm, let's see here. I'm concerned with those who ARE doing the killing as they are told and as their leader did, not the people who are NOT doing the killing. Seriously, what passes for logic with you?
