Ark Encounter A Finacial Disaster.

"...In a twist of irony, some visitors to the Ark Encounter are camping in Big Bone State Lick Park, a park again according to the Enquirer:

“Known for its bones of mammoths that died there more than 10,000 years ago.”

Keep in mind the folks that built the Ark Encounter believe the earth is only about 6,000 years old.

Yeah, that's irony, alright. LOL

But hey, the good news is..."road traffic around the ark isn’t nearly as bad as some had feared." lol

Talibornagain con man strikes again.

And good thing the state of Kentucky only paid for more than half of it.

Irony alert.

They may have done better if it hadn't opened during a declared state of emergency from a natural disaster from rain and flooding in their state:

Apparently, even God thought this was a bad idea.

Might want to ask them if they can define the word - smite.

All the great and wonderful things they could have done with that money, especially in their own state with the low income families trying to just survive.

They opened before they were ready, half way through summer, that can only mean that they were about out of money.

They can always ask the state for more money.

They can always ask the state for more money.

That aint going to work when after the Grand Opening, which is the peak economic benefit to the community, no one is making any money worth mentioning.

I know some say we grow em dumb in Kentucky.

But they aint that dumb.

Ya KNOW?

:pimpdaddy:

I have always said that mixing religion with business is always a bad idea.

If one truly believes the Noah's Ark scenario, then one must either admit that the "god" they believe in is one of the most sadistic jackasses that's ever existed, or admit to being extremely blind in their faith.

If one truly believes any of it, it's time to take a beginner's course in structural engineering

Eh. During Passover dinner - at least when my family put some effort into it, meaning longish readings - I found that mixing wine with my religion made the experience easier.
