White privilege, Religion, Colonialism

Is Christianity responsible for colonialism and white privilege?
See here for an example:

I saw "Herero-settler" and stopped reading.

As for the question, it is true that the Europeans' zeal for the Christian religion may have inspired them to bring civilization as well as true faith to the American barbarians.

This male dominator god perceptual reality is a recent development in hominid evolution. I was raised in the church, primarily the Presbyterian cult since my father was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic cult for marrying outside that cult sans pledging any/all offspring produced by the marriage would be raised Roman Catholic. Recruitment was the issue for the church. If this is the “spiritual” path some have chosen for themselves, whatever, it’s yours. You have no say in the spiritual journey of another, which requires stating outright given the history of male dominator god religions and their waging wars for the souls of the godless heathens and all.

All three of these male dominator god religions vomited up in the middle east are nothing but authoritarian systems and the Roman Catholic Church was the first multinational corporation who by the way called for the ethnic cleansing of the Americas in Papal Bulls of the 1500s; as in extermination of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. Such is your religion, devoid of spirituality.

From another thread on this topic:

“Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners like you and me. Have you ever thought about what happens after you die? I have. It has brought me much anxiety thinking about it, because I know that this life does not last forever and one day, we all will die.”

Yes, it is the cycle of life, and it’s always been this way, religion dictates we fear this. Human. Being. Physical spirit. Your DNA and minerals are of the same DNA and minerals that make up the earth and everything in it, to which you return. Been going on much longer than your bible suggests human beings have even existed.

“God Himself wrote this great book; it is probably the most important book that was ever written.”

No, hominids wrote the book, and it is just another book, certainly not worth all the slaughter that has occurred because of it and its adherents.

“But here is the bad news. You see, nobody is truly a good person. You see, only God is truly good.”

“The Bible teaches that Hell is a place of never-ending fire and torment, and my dear friend, that is not very much fun (this truth has scared a lot of people). It is a place of tears and no hope. It is darkness and loneliness. You won't be able to see anyone at all. It is eternal separation from God Himself. Since God is the Source of Joy and Happiness, that means that everything apart from Him is tears, sorrow, and no happiness. And that does not sound like very much fun at all, doesn't it?”

Your religion is an authoritarian system that subjugates humanity into a perceptual reality based upon guilt, sin, blame, self loathing and fear. You gotta fear your god, gotta fear your Lucifer, and you are damaged goods just for arriving in life (original sin). So you must submit to this male dominator god and his adherents. This is the stuff of colonization; it brutally rolled over the tribes of Europe before it brutally rolled over the tribes of the Americas, Africa, and beyond. The trouble with those tribal societies in the eyes of christendom was that tribal spirituality systems understood their connection to the earth and other human beings, makes subjugating other peoples and extracting their resources and wealth problematic. Religion is for disconnecting human beings from the land and each other into camps for subsequent domination and exploitation. That’s all it’s ever been about. It would be wise for all of us to go look at how we got “civilized”, we are all the descendants of tribes.

Hmm...why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel about religion and whites?

And no, Christianity is not responsible for colonialism. That's been going on for far longer than Christianity, Catholicism, Islam or any other religion around today. It was even happening before the Greek gods were around or Aztlan gods or any other known religion.

And none of it had to do with race. Had to do with survival, curiosity and many other things. So using the race card is nothing more a partisan talking point.
