"Yeah, I'd like one of those $5 Dandelion bouquets for my wife and a dozen roses for my girlfriend."

Actually she would be fine with that as long its not 5$ dandelions for my wife and a dozen roses for MY BOYFRIEND!

I think I will side with what the bible says over what some man says.

That is exactly what the Jesuits are saying. Imagine that.

sola scriptura is another word for fundamentalism. Don't get caught in that.

Ah, no. It's another word for:

Galatians 1 said:
even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Sticking to the Scriptures, rather than letting man (any man or any body of man) override them.

Well I mean in that case, **** the modern system of loaning right?

Abolish loans.

The debtor is indeed slave to the lender, and I agree that the properly Christian attitude towards debt is far from modern societies'. The NT, however, does not (as far as I am aware) go into it, and when interest is mentioned by Jesus (Matt 25:27), it is mentioned positively.

But abolish? No. But you shouldn't (if you are a Christian, or, for that matter, simply someone who wants to be wise with money) be borrowing to purchase consumer goods, tv's, food, gas, cars, etc.

Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Shouldn't this be in the religion forum?
