Well what do you think.....Tomorrow is the big day
Yes for successful or yes for sham? Or no for sham? :doh
I can guarantee it will be more successful than this poll. :rofl
Depends what you call success
Depends on what actually happens tomorrow.
How is this yes or no?
Nothing more than Obama promoting what he wants and his proposal
Ahh so you already saw it?
If Obama was interested in working with the GOP he would not have brought forth his own plan first. He would have asked what do we need to do to get both sides to come together. Instead Obama threatens reconciliation.
Call me when the GOP has a plan.
Call me when Obama has a plan that goes into effect before 2018
They disagree on every single issue, so its likely we will never see anything on this healthcare business.
Call me when the GOP has a plan.
I don't think it's a "sham" but neither do I think it will be a success.
But, then again, perhaps it is a sham though. I think Obama knows the GOP didn't come to debate in good faith or advance health care reform constructively. It could be that he is just wanting to shine the light on GOP obstruction and opposition to healthcare reform for the country to see with their own eyes.
And since an OVERWHELMING majority of Americans want health care reform, and Obama KNOWS the GOP don't wanna give it to them, it very well may be politically motivated.
Very good question.
It's a win-win for Obama either way. Either the GOP will show their stubborness and piss off the majority of Americans who want health care reform and the democrats benefit from the voting blow-back OR the GOP will roll up their sleeves and get in the mix to help come up with some solutions.
Well, that's good news.
Call me when the GOP has a plan.
