One is reminded of the way by which Nazi Germany forced the start of WW11, by dressing some unfortunate people in Polish military uniforms and then placing them in a convenient location on the German side of the border between Germany/Poland.
There must be some reason reason why Chavez is purchasing huge quantities of arms from Russia.

He doesn't have the balls that Hitler had. He doesn't have the military advantage that Hitler had. He doesn't have the reasoning that Hitler had.

Remember this
Venezuela has announced the arrest of a number of people whom it accuses of being agents spying for Colombia.

Quoting myself here on 10/27/09. From this; BBC NEWS | Americas | Venezuela seizes 'Colombia spies'
My first thought when ever I see another story about Chavez is to look for a parallel in history to actions of other leftists. This time I question the authenticity of the charges because I think back to what I know about excuses used in the past to justify expansionism through force. In 1939 Hitler faked an attack from Poland as an excuse to justify his invasion. That is what comes to mind because Chavez has been using the NAZI play book as a guideline to follow in most of his actions.

I hesitate to say this because I have been made fun of and ridiculed for referring to the history of the National Socialist Party as the guide Chavez is using for all his actions and in this case we don't know it the Polish example was used as I have yet to see a response from Columbia over this yet.
Correct me if I'm wrong here but the aggression is being waged from Chavez and of course fro FARC leftists. The prize is the drug trade and the contol of the people and expansionism is all part of the NAZI model.

I urge everyone to be vigilant and on the look out for signs that radicals are at work. They are easy to spot. They lie incessantly making promises they either can't or have no intention of fulfilling. They make up false reasons to take control of businesses, and move to control free speech and the media that isn't already complicit in their propaganda. They promise free money and other things and are I the beginning able to deliver in some small ways just to get people to follow them. They promise change but leave out the part that history shows their philosophies are based on models that sound wonderful but always collapse in the end usually with a great deal of death and destruction in the process. Chavez is a threat to regional peace and he's not alone with Honduras' ousted President Manuel Zelaya about to return. These two are not alone in their dreams of socialist/Communist utopia they have allies that need to be watched very closely.

Arch Enemy;

No but he has the same type of plans for control and dominance and he has outside support in varying degrees from Russia, Cuba, Iran, Libya, and others. You don't have to be able to win out right at first and once a war begins who knows where it might lead.

I wouldn't be surprised to see anything of the sort from narcoterrorist president Alvaro Uribe, especially considering the massive corruption scandal that his allies were caught in.
