A government healthcare program does not equal more taxes, and increased spending, it depends on what else the government is doing, and what the program entails.
Assuming you mean universal healthcare, it means a ton of money spent. It will increase spending or taxes, or both...unless the government makes a huge cut somewhere else. But that poses a problem. Would you propose the cut before the healthcare? Because you know as well as I how unlikely it is for government to cut something after creating a new project. Often times the result will simply be more spending, no cuts (or cuts that are not as great as the new spending).

Are you a liberal or conservative, etc?
Liberal and Conservative terms are too relative. I would be more of a practicalist.

What makes your stance better than others?
Concerned with things that matter vs. tradition, morality, idealism, or special interests.

Do you perceive any flaws in your stance?
Yes. It's usually is only realised when things begin to fall apart or have fallen apart. Prosperity gives the luxury to implement unsustainable policy.

Which one specific aspect of the other political identities do you abhor?
The right is too moralistic, and the left is not tough enough.

libertarian Republican
