I could say it, but I don't think God blesses America more than any other nation so no I don't say it.

Because it's God's choosen country!

No it isn't. Can you prove this from scripture? God has no "chosen" country anymore.

God bless America.

This is fun! Give me another!

Can you say

I saw Susie sitting in a shoe shine shop.
Where she sits she shines, and where she shines she sits.

I'm not the fig plucker,
Nor the fig pluckers' son,
But I'll pluck figs
Till the fig plucker comes.

:( But I'm a foreigner, so, listening to some on here, I'm probably a Muslim, can I say Allah bless America instead?

That's just silly. When a family asks God to bless their meal, do you think God will only blesses one meal? Saying God Bless America can mean two things. It can be a statement of the current state or it can be a request for continued prosperity. It is not exclusive. This isn't "Head of State" and we are not saying "God bless America and no place else."

Mrs Puggy Wuggy has a square cut punt.
Not a punt cut square,
Just a square cut punt.
It's round in the stern and blunt in the front.

No, it was England...

...and "fig" doesn't work as well as "pheasant" in the plucking stakes.

I don't mind other people's reasons for saying or not saying it. I'm just saying, that's my personal reason. Add to that the fact that I'm a deist, so I don't really think God is really involved in blessing anything at the current time.

Nothing wrong with saying "God bless America" but there is something wrong when people have an expectation of you saying it. Something like that should always come from the heart and not social expectation.

Poll show that seemingly only Conservatives are true American Patriots!
