Exactly. Wishful thinking leads people to religious ideals about life and death. The reality is that after death, no one knows the difference because...well, they're dead.

No one know what is universe, where is the beginning and the end, who we are, the purpose we were created, what will happen, and what was happen.

"Tale" only for some secular liberal politically correct "humanist" and atheists, but not to scientists who had never disproved Resurrection of Jesus and his existence.

How do you disprove something that hasn't happened? It's like try to disprove God, you can't because he doesn't exist.

How do you disprove Santa Claus? Because there really isn't a fat guy flying around handing out presents. Yet there isn't any proof of God saving people, so why is that still believable?

'we are all stardust' as Carl Sagan would put it. why even worry or focus on an afterlife, when the presentlife has far more to offer than any of us can individually experience? if one does what he can with good heart in the time he is given, what care should he have for what fate lies after his final rest?

I didn't paint you as anything. You said you wanted to be reincarnated as a rich person's pet. I was simply pointing out you should be careful what you wish for. Vick is rich so if you came back as Vick's dog, that would fulfill your stated wish. :roll:

The only thing that makes sense to me is that this is Hell, and you can make it good or bad, but it is what it is.

We should go to a better place from here.

I thought you were asking burial or cremation.
 
I can prefer anything I want but, in the end it is oblivion.

I did not say I prefer oblivion…my point is, we can prefer (hope) for magical unicorn rides after death but, in reality it will not be the case.
