Maybe it's because of the part of the country I live in. I don't know but I never really think of Great Britain as some foreign. country. Like Spain. I think of it like New England or something. You're not going to see Southerners vote Canada as our best friend. They don't know anyone from Canada. The South thinks it is UK. The North thinks it's Canada. I'm remembering a survey posted here years back.

So to me, the prince of New England is getting married and he's kin.

It doesn't look like you were either. :2razz:

It doesn't look like Obama was invited.

Was something said about that? Who is more A list than the President of the United States? Seems all our big wigs should be invited.

Tony Bliar isn't invited either, and he started all that "People's Princess" nonsense with Will's mother.

Then again, he started all that Iraq nonsense with the lesser Bush too.

OK, I'm shocked! Tony Blair? You'd think at least the Queen would invite him. I'm going to say screw the vertigo and fly to London and take steps. I don't like having to take steps.

Right Obama was not invited or the french president,

Seems Michelle Obama touching her majesty's shoulder last yer was the toughest thing she ever endured.

The poor dear.

You don't know the prince?

No, I definitely do not, I've never met the guy.

His name is William. He is the elder son of Diana, Princess of Wales. She died in an accident many years ago.

Yes, I know these facts. They don't mean that I know him.

It's fascinating! It doesn't matter who you are. You don't get to say it's not fascinating.

Um, actually I'm pretty sure I do get to say just that. In fact, I already did.

The royal wedding is not fascinating.

See there, I just did it again.

So do tou get the day off so you can go see the festivities? You don't have know him personally. Like I said it's once in a lifetime sort of thing and I'm jealous I can't be there.

Yes I do, I care. Man could be my future King.

This is something we will never understand...I will never live my life beneath any "Royalty"...but they do...I just watched "The King's Speech"...it was fascinating.

I live in the South and totally disagree with you. Great Britain is foreign to me:)

Don't you watch British shows? You're missing a lot. They are hands down the most clever people on the planet. They speak your language, How could they be so foriegn to you? Have you ever heard of a band called "The Beatles?" Or the Rolling Stones or David Bowie or Elton John?

Go watch some Absolutly Fabulous episodes over on the Hulu and you'll see just what I mean.

You're too much work for a Monday morning.

Don't really care though I wish them the best... I will actually be preparing for bed as they are getting married as I have a half-ironman triathlon the next day... a little more important to me...

Oh, so your health and well being are more important to you than young royal love, Oh.

That sort of attitude would not bring her majesty joy. I wouldn't go there whenever you talk to her.

No, it is called being well rested for a difficult 113km race and the possible prize money IS more important to me...

My brother is like 57. I give him Meloxicam for when he does marathons. And then he shares some with his brother in law ,too.

Hope you win!
