How much time and money did you spend doing your 2010 federal income taxes?

This poll is multiple choice. Please vote one time option and one money option.

I have never filed federal income taxes.

usually about an hour on some tax software and about $14 for filing fees.

Like Joe Walsh says in this song “life’s been good”, I have accountants.

in my case I take him my shoe box full of papers and come back a few days later and he has a red X where I sign.:rock

I spent about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours, on H&R Block online doing our taxes. It was free because all military personnel can get their taxes done for free going through military onesource for the link. I think the only reason it took that long was getting our 4 W-2s together. Next year should be much easier. We should only have 2 W-2s.

How much money do you make and where does it come from?

You don't know ****, didn't you hear Harry Reid? Filing income tax returns is voluntary.

I use H&R Block software for state and federal. 90% of the information is pulling in from the previous years version, & I just make whatever adjustments are required. Takes me about an hour to do and file electronically. Cost is about $50.00 between the software, and state filing fee (H&R Block gives you 5 free e-files).
