if you are looking to me for support of the Bush clan, you do not know me.....
Bush Jr. had a war and a tax cut at the same time. Texans should be able to do the math better than that....after all, No Child Left Behind started in Texas, under Bush...

No, as they say on Dragnet just the facts, just the facts. or in the case between Bush jr. and Obama just the math will do.

I don't think it is possible for one man to shoulder all the responsibility for a country's changes. It is about communities and networks of people taking action in a chain of events. The public is also involved in that - not just government. Even in the absence of a government, the country would be constantly changing.

I'd rather like to think of the Bush or Obama periods as non-Bush and non-Obama periods. In other words, they were just periods of time, where there were different influences, different intentions, and different approaches to addressing our whole way of life. Our Presidents were part of that for sure, but so were we, and I don't think any of us could really pinpoint a single human as the reason for what happened. That is far too egotistical and narcissistic for my taste.

A small differance there, well not too small.

Bush was a Republican he had the support of Republicans.
The White House administration, Senate and House were controled by Republicans for 6 years.

In 2000 he had the majority of the world as well as many Democrats,{ myself included} support after 9/11.
What was his support when he left office?

And he had an increase in tax revenue too. At the same time. Unless that's completely unimportant.

I'm sure ... Hilary Clinton would be better then both of them

I understand your line of reasoning, I just don't feel the same way. We could nit pick and find anything wrong with either, or find things that are right. The President has special legal powers for sure, but he is also just the face of a greater network of people. There were a million things good and bad that happened during the Bush admin, and I'm not just saying that to be an apologist. It's true.

One man is not truly in control.

Sadly? She will not be running anytime soon and has said she is very happy with the work she is doing right now.

Increased tax revenue during boom times.. who would have thought?! And yet the debt and deficit kept going up and up and up.

Well I blame Wall Street. Not my brave Preident Bush.

What people don't see ever so often is that fact that bush made bills that would take effect after he left office.

Sure that time is now over but in my opinion what has happened in America is...

Bush royally screwed up, I mean royally and Obama is trying to clean things up but its just sooo bad he really can't do much.

Also I hope Clinton does run again as she did say that she wouldn't be Sec of State again which might mean she could be considering a run.

Was that before or after the bailouts?

Republicans supported Bush this is fact.
A majority of the power of the federal government was in Republicans hands for 6 years this is fact.
Soo, what happened this president after 9/11 had the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representitives at his call, for 6 years, plus many people right side as well as left side asking what they could do and nations in the first month after 9/11

What was President Bushes advice was it tighten your belts start cutting back on spending "which is what people usualy do in a war" but no it was go out to a restuarant spend money??
If that was not enough.
After the invasion of Iraq , bush as well as many other Republicans were singing the same song "we have to fight them over there so we won't fight them over here"??
Really? Iraq a landbased country, how big is their navy???

Check the Republicans stocks lately during 2000 to 2008?

Example, Cheaney's stocks in Haliburtian who just happen to get a no bid contract from the U.S.Government,
Bushes stocks in oil after Exxon got a few million FOR RESEARCH AFTER A RECORD BREAKING PROFIT YEAR.
