I always vote for libertarians \to protest against the two-party system. I figure my vote doesn't matter anyway, so might as well make the libertarians look better.
 
What I find sad in this whole thread...besides badmutha's birther crap...is that there are so many people that have stated that they wouldn't vote for a "democrat" or a "republican" or <insert political party here>.

When are people going to start ignoring a persons party and start voting based on the person themselves? The whole party system is nothing more than a dividing line between people and doesn't really say crap about how a particular person really is.

...never said the Kenyan Tyrant wasnt born here.......just saying neither I or 300 million other Americans have seen the original BC.....and anyone else in those Kenyan shoes would have had plastered the BC on every billboard from here to Hawaii by now.

If you truely believed that he was born here then you wouldn't use the term "Kenyan" as it is an incorrect term. Also you've never seen my original BC, does that mean that I'm actually Irish? Actually it doesn't say squat. There have been plenty of politicians that have changed thier party affiliation, some even multiple times. However the changing of the party affiliation does say something about the person. More than what party they claim to be a part of.

Voting for people doesn't matter because the party system subverts personal integrity and vision.

My sentiments exactly.
For president I have almost voted Democrat each time except voting for Perot and Anderson. I have voted for Republican senators and representatives .

With the recent hijacking of the Republican Party by Palin am not going to vote for any Republican.

I will vote for Obama unless by some miracle there rises a strong independent.
