Watch the video, take the poll, discuss the topic.

No haven't heard, but if there's a video of the cop describing how he beat his wife in detail, and what he did before during and after... it might warrant some looking into.Did you hear about the cop who beat his wife? Based on that, the police should be prosecuted and are morally corrupt.
Can you provide me any legitimate reason that this office manager would be giving such advice, given the context provided to her?We haven't learned, yet, that taking a hobbled video for it's present 'face value' on the internet is a bad idea?
Sometimes things can be legitimate - sometimes they aren't.
So is this also nothing? It's happened often in the last few years - and a few times it's been proven to be nothing.

So just one bad apple here - is that what your saying?
You're the only one saying it - I'm simply asking if you think this is one bad apple. So if you had a video of a cop beating his wife, it would warrant looking into all cops? Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?
So you have no opinion then? The absolute worst case you have some one acting stupid, the worst case is the whole thing is dishonest.
See you as a mod should know this: This is a poll and in the poll, I present a situation (a video in this case) and then present a wide range of possible answers to that poll ranging from "Disgusting" to "Joke". I'm not required to post an opinion even though I have one. I'm not going to poison the poll by presenting my opinion because my opinion is irrelevant. I'm interested in what others believe and I'm asking questions to help clarify. If it doesn't fly for you --- you're not required to respond any further. This whole "I am just presenting the video" crap doesn't fly. You would not be presenting the video if it was not something you wanted to believe.
Planned Parenthood's vice president for communications, Stuart Schear, said the organization has requested an FBI probe of the man's claims and has already fielded some initial FBI inquiries.
Here is an interesting little bit: AP Exclusive: Planned Parenthood seeks FBI probe - SFGate
Note the date of a week ago on this story.
Turns out, Planned Parenthood turned the guy in and requested the FBI check out his claims. They did this before the video ever surfaced. Looks like PP acted responsibly. Funny how this was not mentioned in the OP...
Newark Examiner.com said:Planned Parenthood has already demanded that LiveAction be investigated by the FBI. LiveAction has sent full, unabridged footage to US Attorney General Eric Holder, New Jersey Attorney General Paula Dow, several FBI officials, and various other federal and State law-enforcement agencies.

Newark Star Ledger said:Paul Loriquet, a spokesman for New Jersey Attorney Paula Dow, says Dow's office is "looking into the allegations."
Phyllis Kinsler, chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey, added that the clinic employee's behavior, as portrayed on the video, "violates PPCNJ policies, as well as our core values of protecting the welfare of minors and complying with the law, and appropriate action is being taken."

So here's some local views, and I know you might be partial to a SanFran periodical.
So is this just one bad apple?
Planned Parenthood insists on the highest standards of care, and safeguards the trusted relationship we have with patients, families and communities. What appears on edited tapes made public today is not consistent with Planned Parenthood's practices, and is under review. Phyllis Kinsler, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey (PPCNJ), has stated that, "the behavior of our employee, as portrayed on the video, if accurate, violates PPCNJ policies, as well as our core values of protecting the welfare of minors and complying with the law, and appropriate action is being taken."
That's all I wanted to know.Who knows.

Worth repeating:
Can you provide me any legitimate reason that this office manager would be giving such advice, given the context provided to her?
As far as learning - I'm just posting the video to stand on it's own - you make the call. Notice in my OP, I provided zero, nada opinion? :2wave:
So is this also nothing?
Then you are deaf and blind.I'd call the manager un-professional but I dont see anything criminal going on.
I see someone laying out what has to happen if certain things are said, something that isnt unusual at all. Where it sounds un-professional is when red flags start popping up and she tries to avoid hearing things that would require her to report them. Avoiding paperwork when you are required to deal with the situation is not professional. Then you are deaf and blind.
When there are no immediate facts to pine for - I like to wait. . .I've jumped to conclusions before and regretted - and if there's legitimacy then it would proceed as all other investigations do - and through that means we'll find out more solid details.
