I only wish they had a droid army like other separatists.

But I do hope they get peaceful independence.

First sentence deserves a applause. Second sentence, already down the drain, more people die every day au cause of this.

I voted but would like to point out your second and third choices are basically the same position.
Needlessly fragmenting any result.

Sub-Saharan Africa provides the most tension between Islam and Christianity in the current version of their age long struggle. It is there they are evenly matched.

Not exactly, wanting to see Sudan stay unified and loathing separatist are two completely different things.

I am profoundly interested in questions of how nations are formed and how boundaries are determined, but I don't have a dog in this fight. I hope, whatever the outcome, that it works out for the best and that the nation or nations involved thrive and grow.

Sudan hasn't had peace in a long time, I do voluntary work with refugee children, mostly from Sudan (and Myanmar), and to hear some of the stories their parents tell, if the separation can just stop some of that, it would be a good thing.
