No, but that does not mean it does not happen. Same for Christianity.. it is technically not allowed, but as we all know it happens even among the clergy.

First, they claim Nazi isn't predominantly conservative. They claim that Nazism is close to Socialism. Then, why does Nazis hate Communists, and Communists hate Nazis? Hitler hated Communism, in fact, there's many Nazi posters like "Death to Marxism". Of course, Alfons and the ilk will come whining that I'm wrong by posting some BS, hyper-partisan link claiming that it's a reliable, credible source proving Nazism is predominantly left-wing, or that Communism is predominantly right-wing. Only fits their logic
Second, Alfons claims that nations who persecute Christians (the biggest minority, as he claimed. ROFL) should be sanctioned. Then, shouldn't nations that persecute Muslims, Jews, etc... shouldn't be sanctioned? It seems that his way of thinking is that only Christians are humans. BS
Now, he's claiming that pedophilia is allowed in Islam and that Islam is trying to convert the US. Well, isn't every religion trying to convert others into itself? What about Buddhism, Christianity, etc..?
Sadly, I think that the 1.5 minutes I've spent typing this post will have no effect on Alfons' and the other's thinking. However, the only reason why I wrote this post is not to have AN EFFECT, but in hopes that it will have an effect.

Complaining about a poster isn't commenting on the subject matter nor the poll. Focus. The topic is about pedophelia in Islam today. Comment on that. If you want to bash posters - go to the basement and have at it.

Well, then, for my position on the subject, then this thread should be deleted. This is nothing but BS by hyper-partisan, extreme Christians (I'm not bashing Christians, but bashing Christians who try to defame other religions). No religion, country, race, people, organization, or anything is perfect in the world. Yes, Islam has many flaws. However, Alfons didn't point out (I noticed nobody actually did) that Christians themselves have created a storm of controversy on the priests molesting boys. Not pedophilia? Come, on. Islam has its flaws, but so does other things

Ok, I'm sorry. I don't care where you are, what normal grown man could look at a 6 (actually I thought she was 9, either way) year old child and think, "I want to marry her NOW". That's just sick to me.

My claim of validity is there are valid claims about Catholic priests and pedophilia, just as there are valid claims about Islam and pedopilia. This gave me a good reason to try out the search on DP and quickly I found the following threads regarding Catholics:

Catholicism is a sect of Christianity.

So would you say that it is fair to say that there are valid claims about Christianity and pedophilia?

Sure .... but it's mostly applied to Catholics. I don't know if there is a difference between Islam's main groups: Shia and Sunni though.

Absolutely.

And, there are ongoing problems with both sects in regards to pedophilia. Pedophilia is basically legalized in some Islamic countries, where girls can be married and consumate their marital relations at age 11. The largest Christian organization in the world has hidden, but thus, tacitly condoned, the practice of pedophilia within the ranks of their religious hierarchy. And, shielded its practitioners from prosecution, allowing them to victimize hundreds of thousands of people.

Anyone see the endemic hypocrisy of the adherents of the one judging and decrying the one while ignoring the other?

Actually, a lot of religious denominations have had issues with pedophilia and sexual abuse by religious leaders. The other denominations tend to be more decentralized and less hierarchical than Catholics, however, so the faith is rarely held responsible for their misdeeds. Instead, individual congregations and individual leaders are held up for condemnation.
