Good grief, I don't even know how I accomplished that ^^^ unfinished post. What I meant to say was I disagree w/ DOL's suggestion that between Israel and Hamas, that it's Israel that's the aggressor. Hamas is committed to jihad against Israel and is opposed to any peace talks. Both are in the Hamas charter.

What about between Israel and the people of Gaza? Who is the aggressor there?

That is completely irrelevant to my question, which is about Gazan civilians.

It is entirely relevant.

Gazans voted overwhelmingly for a terrorist organization to represent them, Gazan's actively engage in terrorism, and Gazan's lob thousands of rockets into Israel hoping to kill Jews because they are Jews.

Just because your agenda demands you ignore certain facts, that doesn't mean these facts are not relevant.

That is called collective punishment and is illegal in international law. It's sort of like saying "The majority of Germans supported Hitler so the German Jews deserved it."

and what do you consider terrorism, if not "collective punishment"?

You guys might want to take the discussion of Israel to the ME forum so that you don't get in trouble by bringing it outside of the ME forum.

I'm not particularly interested in discussing this with Gardener, as he is basically a robot, but figured the other poster could at least answer the question without having it turn into a huge ordeal. Guess not. :-X

Nowhere has such a claim even remotely been made. Norman Finklestein only claims that members of the Jewish establishment have abused the memory of the Holocaust for political and financial gain.
Au Contrare.
I made a whole string of it.
Enjoy:

Citing very credible sources (Simon Wiesenthal Center, NY Times, ADL, etc) that Finkelfuhrer is indeed an antisemite. (and was Fired from Depaul and denied a job at Yale)
In re his Jew Baiting book 'Holocuast Industry'.....
"The New York Times' review of the book described its premise as a "novel variation" of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.." "..Accordingly, the Times' reviewer described Finkelstein as "Juvenile," "arrogant," and "Stupid" (Aug. 6, 2000).

Nothing you mentioned even remotely proves that Norm Finkelstein has ever said what Gardener claims. What you have are a lot of opinions about Norm Finkelstein.

It not only "remotely proves it" it Specifically proves it using the same metaphor to the 'Protocols' for Finkelfuhrer's 'Holocaust industry' as Gardener does. (!)
Your posts, while always in denial and oft dropping the most poignant parts of other's posts.. are now just plain GONE.

Gardener Claim said:
Yes, books created in order to promote hostility towards Jewish people by accusing them of manipulating people though milking the Holocaust obviously have nothing to do with the sort of classic antisemitism in bygone days that simply accused Jewish people of manipulating people by basis of their protocols.

What's next?
"The sky isn't blue, it's blue"???

I didn't see this turning into a huge ordeal at all. Gardener brought up some valid points, why do you disregard them? You asked about Gazans, he answered you.

LOL right he answered by asking me a question about terrorists when we were discussing Gazan civilians, sure.

I'm not going to continue this here because I don't want to get infracted, even though it's strange that we can't discuss Middle East issues outside of that forum yet European issues are regularly discussed outside of the Europe forum...

Moderator's Warning:
DoL and mbig... Zyph warned you to NOT discuss ME issues here. Do it again and you... or anyone else will be thread banned and perhaps more.

Mechanical Engineering?

Zionist Occupational Government (the idea that a shadowy cabal of Joos control the world's governments and particularly that of the U.S.). It's frequently put forward by neo-nazis, Islamists, and a couple of posters on this forum.

IMO, it's a red flag that is a dead tip-off that you're dealing with someone that is actually anti-semitic.

Really? That's a little disappointing to hear. I like to think that I base myself on at least historical record before coming to my conclusions about stuff. In particular, your statement that anyone who mentions this is anti-semitic. I just take exception to that. The reason I became interested in anything relating to what you call ZOG, that also falls under the NWO category is because it has the name Rothschild all over it. The Israeli Supreme Court AND Knesset building were gifts from the Rothschild family to the State of Israel. We're not talking about a monument or a fountain. We're talking about ... well, buildings. Big, important, official ones, shrouded in mystery, gifted as-is (no questions asked) and full of Masonic imagery and symbolism which itself is influenced by Kabbalah and Khemit (ancient Egypt) traditions. There also seems to be a lot of historical evidence for linking Adam Weishaupt (founder of the illuminati) and Mayer Amschel Bauer (who later changed his name to Rothschild).

I guess what I'm trying to point out is that it is possible to come at this from, say, studying symbology, or esoteric/occult tradition and/or Freemasonry, and not be anti-Semitic. This doesn't mean that I suspect every Jew of hiding a secret key or code that's going to get them passage onto the second Ark, or that they are planning my demise. For me its about exploring and unraveling the meanings of the symbols
that have not changed much since the time of the Egyptians yet have a way of showing up in Britney Spears videos, and Jay-Z can't stop singing about them when he isnt too busy flashing 'the Roc' (triangle sign, named after Rockefeller, Jay-Zs crew is called Rocka Fella).. now come on... isn't that just TOO MANY coincidences?

We've also used the color red since the beginning of time. Is it a coincidence? And what about rainbows? What the **** do they mean?

Is it offensive to call a Catholic a Catholic, or a Baptist a Baptist?

How can the word "Jew" be offensive?

To be a Jew one only needs to adopt the Judaic religion - Jewishness is a religion

It's come up in a thread that some people might consider the word "Jew" to be offensive or insulting. Is "Jew" offensive? I ask this in all sincerity because I do use the word and it hadn't occurred to me that it might be a bad thing to do.

Is Christian, Muslim or Hindu offensive?

It's the same calling someone Muslim or Christian.
