Ok then. I'm a worker in a factory. It's a pickle factory. Trucks come in with loads of cucumbers and we can them and ship them out.
100 people work there. Who tells me what to do on Monday morning when I arrive?

Most likely some one other than you? so what is your point?

The workers would create an agenda, you would have an assigned role. Once you complete everything assigned you could leave. If you refuse to work or just don't then you would be kicked out of the community, as you are not contributing.

Wait a minute. All the workers together create the agenda?

Are you ok? you're not making much sense.
I told you to find evidence of Fox bashing the left. (I'm sure you could scrounge up something) They aren't perfect.
I said I'd bring evidence of MSNBC bashing the right and that I would give 3 examples for every 1 you find.
MSNBC has to do with it for competition and that some wanted to see both in a cage beating the crap out of each other. I said MSNBC would win that fight. All they do is bash the right.
You game? Or do you know you can't win? :)

LMAO Im just fine Im laughing having a good time
I made perfect sense, you told me to go find cases where fox trashes the left and you said you'd match it 3-1, so you already admit that fox DOES do that, the ratio is meaningless to me and the point I made unless you are trying to change the subject lol

whats seldom to you? less then say 5 times a week? would that be seldom? LOL seldom is on only a few occasions; rarely; infrequently; not often and that simply isnt a true statement unless you think seldom means something else

cant win? win what?, a game you just made up to try and distract me from my point? a game that has ZERO impact on my point? lol

I never made the claim that MSNBC does it more or less thats you trying to deflect I simply laughed at the ridiculous notion that "fox seldom trashes the left" because that simply is not true, nice try though, nice strawman

Yeah they could or if they get into the job and the habit then you can just know what needs to be done. Regardless it is all worker controlled.

Then you should have no problem proving it. :)

Ok, but it doesn't seem like things would run smoothy. I guess you could rotate and different people would be assigned different jobs each day so no one got stuck on the relish line the whole week.
A day of works done. I'm going home. Do I own my own car?

You could rotate if monotony kicks in of course. That or an actually functioning public transportation. But at first individual cars yes. But once a public transportation system that is set up in an efficient and convenient way, it would be a waste to go in individual cars.

more deflection and you just repeat the same strawman? like I said I never mentioned how much MSNBC does anything only that they are bias just like fox why are you so desperate to change my point? I smell you desperation :laughat:

So I wouldn't be stopping at a wal-mart or starbucks on my way home if I was using public transit.
Suppose I did have car and I didn't mind the "waste." I just want to be alone in my car and listen to the radio on the way home. I want to be relaxed when I get home to my husband. Public transit sounds crowded, noisy, and stressful.

Only current transit. There could be a way to make it much more comfortable as well as efficient. And there wouldn't be a wal-mart or starbucks silly, it isn't Capitalism.

Wouldn't life be more enjoyable if you weren't always going out of your way to irritate people.
You know I'm right. Run along and find a Fox clip of hannity or whoever bashing the left. I'm sure they exist, just few and far between.

What is there? A Pizza hut?

Lol no. There would be a place like a grocery store or a warehouse that contains all the products. Every day once you finish your work you would get a slip saying you worked for the day and then you could take all you need/want. Though there is a variant with checks that measure your time and each product would be measured in that way. There could be eat out restraunts or a large communal kitchen in which others could help you make the food or even do it for their work. It all depends if there is enough labor at hand, though I'm sure there will be.

Seems like this thread has gone off in many directions.. Anyway, I used to have public transport and I miss it. It was so nice... and you can get starbucks in the subway station or train station while you wait. They often have little shops, so you can grab cards, small gifts, coffee, donuts, sandwich, or in my case pasta... ;)

And since a lot of people are listening to their music on ipods today, listening to your music isn't a big deal... but my favourite part of public transport is being able to rest or get work done before going to work. You might like it, if you had it.

Am I contributing to the conversation? I dunno. I just really miss my rail system. :2razz:

Wow Im irratating you? WHat are you 12? Why would you getting caught deflecting irrate you? You must have thin skin, maybe you should have stayed on topic instead of trying to deflect, Ill continue to live in reality while you deflect and live in fantasy, thanks :)

People being served the same food everyday? I don't like the sound of that.. I am such a picky eater.. What kind of jobs will everybody do? Manufacture.. why would it be unreasonable for somebody to want to have a coffee shop or a pizzeria?

Your way sounds a bit better than WeAre's. He's trying to turn me on to socialism. Don't think I'm there yet. LOL

Well I never suggested that at all. I said you could pick what you need/want of everything that is made. I also meant after all production is assured then you could focus on something like restraunts or coffee shops etc. All I meant is that society has to have priorities but after the initial transitition period I don't see why it would be unrealistic.

All she did is make public transportation sound nicer. I said society should improve it and rely on it more. That is pretty related in my favor actually. :)

Listen. I like revolutionist trolling as well but we can't do this every thread can we? This is about Faux News

OK, I'm sorry but your way is sounding really unappealing.
Here's things I always liked. Living in the country on a little plot of land. Working every day, getting a paycheck. Driving home leisurely on the back roads listening to rock and roll or talk radio. Maybe stopping at the carryout and picking up a 30 pk of beer for the week-end. Jumping in the truck on Sat with friends and heading to lake to fish and hangout at the cabin. Oh yea, and eating where ever we want.
Mass transit, trading work for food? What kind of place would I likely live in and would I have 200 channels on TV?

Well, I am jumping in the middle of a conversation... It still sounds like a daily ala carte menu to me.. before the restaurants develop
