Please show me any clip or transcript you can find of Obama praising himself for anything that he's done :)

You missed the President praising the recent Nobel Peace Prize winner, by talking mostly about himself? There's a whole thread on it. Really. You need to get out more.

there's also this...

Obama's Speeches-- Obama Mentions Self Nearly 1,200 Times!

....and that was just up until September of 2009.

So, you've automatically given Palin the GOP spot, have you?

I don't think that's necessarily the case. Rather, the media keeps promoting Sarah Palin but at the cost of providing media exposure for other GOP nominees. So every 5-second spot or segment talking about what Palin says/does takes away from what other GOP nominees are saying/doing, thus keeping her at the forefront for the GOP nomination in the minds of the public while having the media ignore any better possible challenges to the Democratic candidate, which can only help the Democratic candidate.

I believe the media in general including Fox news is trying to prop her up for 2012 to run against Obama so that Obama can have a second term.

Do you have any links showing FOX News 'proping her up' for a 2012 run? Or, do you define ANY story on Palin as 'proping her up'?

Trouble with that theory is that right now, no one is doing much of anything related to a run for 2012.

Yeah, it is a silly idea.

You'll see it ramp up soon enough. Once the GOP takes over Congress, you will see everything in their power to create a platform to run on with personalities being promoted.

Sometimes that's true and sometimes they put someone like Obama and Carter in office. But hey, nobody's perfect.

Sometimes they are even dumber yet and put Bush into office. The ones that are enamored by Palin have to be retards.

It's not just about the economy. It's about that health care bill that Obama and the Dems rammed through (without a legit 2/3 majority vote) despite being wildly unpopular. In a year when Scott Brown wins in Massachusetts and Obama's old senate seat goes to a Republican why exactly should I not be feeling confident? Just 2 years ago certain left wing pundits were claiming that the GOP was pretty much done for.

And a few years before that the GOP was talking about a permanent majority. Your memory is exceedingly short.

I take it as a compliment to be compared to Navy Pride.

Clearly you are a product of the public schools of America.

Sleeping with your mom?

See above.

Sure he'll run. He's going to run for the Democrat nomination, first; which--IMO--will be a healthy hurdle to cross. If he doesn't go to prison for offering Bart Sestak a job in the administration, to drop out of the congressional race, that is. If he gets past all that, he'll go to the general election and get his ass handed to him and we'll have to hear the Libbos go on and on and ****ing on about how we're all racists and it's because of that racism that we just didn't see how pure and wonderful Obama really is and blah, blah, blah, boo-hoo, your guy stole the election and all that kinda bull****. And, that'll be that. The Libbo fringe had it's chance, cocked it up, accept it and move on.

Yes Obama will run again. There's really no question of that and I would be surprised if he didn't run again. And I don't surprise very easily. I just hope to God that he doesn't get re-elected.

You and me both.

His running for a second term IMHO is a forgone conclusion. With the exception of LBJ has any post WWII President not sought a second term? It seems to me that as the only term limited elected federal office all candidates and victors approach the office as an 8 year term - just watch how they conduct themselves. The first four years are spent setting up the second term election

Well?

Yes or no and reason(s) why.

Of course he will - he's a cocky bastard and doesn't listen to reason.
he'll run fully believing he'll win again.

You know what will hold him back? His "I care just for right now this one time" base and all those who felt stabbed in the back.

When your opposition thinks you're a Nazi/Commie/Muslim, and your base thinks you're a *****, you've got next to no chance unless the other side puts up Sarah Palin.

God bless America.

I hope not... but if he does I hope someone challenges him in the primaries.

Had Saul Alinsky-Hillary not taken the SOS post, she'd be perfectly positioned to knock off the Junior President.

Riiiiight... When was the last time we had a president that pleased everybody? Never.

You really are the partisan hack you appear to me. Probably racist too.
