Depends how you define "betray". I'm sure someone, somewhere, feels betrayed at something I did at one point or another...You do realise the key word in the first bit is allegations, if the Swedes had any definitive proof, they would've gotten the Poms would to extradite him already. And as for the second one, he didn't betray anyone either.

If any Australian troops die because of this, I hope you'll be here to cheer.
If any Australian troops die 'cause of him, I'll gladly order in the firing squad for him, until that time, I'm gonna keep supporting him just to piss you off.
You support him cause you're a lib. The Aussie troopers would deserve to die, wouldn't they? If they hadn't been acting imperialistic, nothing would have happen. Am I right? I mean they're acting like pawn of the Great Satan of the West.
This Julian Asshat guy is originally from Australia. In Oz date rape is an expression of affection. Although the poor guy was in Sweden, he was abiding by Aussie customs.
Two questions with the poll answers being applied as if there was only one question. Lame.
If there's evidence of the sexual assault then yes he should be tried for it.
As for the "betrayal". He hasn't betrayed anyone so no.
As many have pointed out, this is 2 questions.
Sexual assault: it's a serious charge and should be taken seriously. Yes if there is enough evidence to get him to trial. He needs to turn himself in and go through the process, just like any one else faced with serious charges.
Betrayal: He is not American, so can hardly be accused of betraying a country he is not a part of. I am entirely unsure if his wikileaks activity falls outside the law, but if it does, try him. Personally, I would love for there to be found a way to try him for his wikileaks activity and lock him up for the rest of his life, but it does have to be done legally. The fact he deserves it for his actions is not enough.
He's given away American secrets.

Dear people who think that the actions of Julian Assange are going to get soldiers killed
The overwhelming majority of Afghanis have never even heard of 9/11. The majority of Iraqis are more concerned about not being blown up in their local markets than they are about Wikileaks. The reason people are shooting at our soldiers is not because of the internets. It's because we're in their country.
Truly yours, Somebody who has a clue.
You should return your clue for one not defective. The reason the leaked info is dangerous is because the names of informants among Afghanis was released in some of the documents. It does not take the whole country seeing those names, only one enemy who passes it along.
Yours truly, Somebody with a real clue.
If any Australian troops die because of this, I hope you'll be here to cheer.
