 World of Warcraft...a game for people who can't cut it in Everquest II.

Everything I learned about leadership, I learned from managing 39 screaming nerds through Molten Core, its made me the Lieutenant I am to today. But seriously I loved that game back in high school, got me through that bull****, besides as President I can exercise my executive domain on the lootz.

Leroy Jenkins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I would vote for any of you crazy bastards. :D

Not a problem. I know some folks at Diebold who can get me all the votes I need.

I thought I had some pretty good ideas. :(
There were a few good ideas in your post, perhaps one of the best in this thread.

I didn't agree with them all, though... *checks back* yep, that covers it.

I have no doubt they can shoot at cans and deer... things that typically don't shoot back.

the south provides a heavily disproportionate percentage of our military; which means they also have a disproportionate percentage of our veterans. :)

Exactly! - President Zimmer's policies would result in the rivers running red...

President Turtle... I don't think you'd fare much better.

LOL... Really? Small limited government replaced by 50 states and their communities running their own experiments and offering their own services... should they desire?

You know... what the founders had in mind.

.

I'd finally get to eat a panda bear!

LOL... reminds me of one...

I have a buddy who's a riot... in Hawaii he and his wifey were going whale watching... before they were to go the "guide" started giving her spiel about whales to a fairly large group... blah, blah, blah... and she finished with "does anyone have any questions". My buddy, perfectly placed at the back of the crowd... said "Yeah... here... he paused... so everyone could hear clearly...then said... Ugh, yeah... when does whale season open."

He pulled another such stunt in a Swiss bank... after a tour with managers from the bank... it was at a bank party... he asked... "where do you keep the gold teeth?"

.

All of the above, with main (currently, that is) focus on the Economy.

A key aspect of which, IMO, is to greatly improve/overhaul our education system.

The first worthy answer.
I am an education nut as well. but there must be more.
It is, what I call "national good feeling", where our people are happy.
Right now, they are not, they are depressed and angry...
Solution?
Identify everything that is counter to this "good feeling" and investigate.
Much of this is due to lack of honesty and transparency.
Wars?
Stop them all!
We should have learned by now that our ways and ideas are not accepted by many others - they are simply not ready for them. So we need people in government with a degree of intelligence...
And, evidently, we need to greatly improve/upgrade our education...

I'd delegate everything and just assign department heads, generals, czars and whoever else I can find to "handle it." Then I'd kick play and play World of Warcraft.
Isn't this what Reagan and Bush did, among others ?

Lower taxes. Slash spending. Refuse to bail anyone out.

Something foriegn policy related
Play hardball with Iran. Start by making it clear that the US will do nothing to stop Israeli actions against them. Make it just as clear that the US will react as violently as possible to any nuclear action supported by Iran.

Something War related
See above. Beyond that, make sure the troops in Afghanistan have everything they need.

Something about the enviornment
Dismantle the EPA. Ban the Sierra club.

Something immigration related
Work to change the defintion of 'natural born citizen' to mean that at least one of your parents must be a US citizen to qualify. Find everyone that is here illegally and remove them. Secure our southern border through physical means.

Something gay marrige related
Support Clinton's DOMA to the fullest estent possible. If necessary, amend the constitution to that effect.

Something Alternative energy related
Reduce regulations that limit the development. Offer tax incentives to companies that produce AE materails and means.

Something drug realated
Enforce all of the current laws to the fullest extent.

I'd probably stage a military coup of my own country and create a socialist police state.

If you were the president of the United States (or the leader of the country that you live in) what would you do?

Create a viable economic stimulus--lower taxes, less spending, a balanced budget, drastically reduced regulations, eliminate needless and abusive programs, end needless wars, end foreign aid, end membership in UN, eliminate useless and abusive government employees and officers, end illegal seizures of private property, and quit meddling into the affairs of other nations.

I heard Neal Boortz propose pretty much the same things.
