Japan is pretty much the nicest, most interesting place I've ever lived, and I've lived plenty of places. I don't mind that nobody speaks english.

That just means you need to shout more loudly and slowly.

If South Africa became safe I'd wanna go back to my homeland to pretty much die when I'm older.

You can go there and pretty much die right now, no need to wait till it's safe. :2razz:
Actually, it'd probably even be easier.

"Southern States" is what I chose - though, specifically, I'd love to live in Southern California - rural. It's beautiful out that way.

Depending on how you define the regions, I might already live in either the "Northern U.S," "Southern U.S.," or "Middle U.S.".

I'm not sure I'd feel at home at anywhere other than the Mid-Atlantic, though. But who knows.

My country, if only there was more sun (we got one of the rainiest August since 1850, and only 120 hours of sun this month).

I like my town, it's quite nice, we eat well (beers, waffles & french fries :p) and even if it is not very prosperous, you can live well if you've got a diploma.

But if I had to live somewhere else, it would be northern italy without any doubt, somewhere in the countryside between Venice and Trieste, near Slovenia. 30 minutes away from the shores of the Adriatic sea, 1 hour away from the beautiful Dolomiti mountains (with dozens of superb lakes) and surrounded by great cities full of magnificent buildings. And add exquisite cuisine (ham, cheese, wine...) and nice girls :p

I would just avoid living in Flanders. For those who do not know Flanders, it looks like that:

That's beautiful bub.

I wouldn't mind living anywhere, at least once.
I have a couple of rules about it though.

No gun restrictions or very light gun restrictions.
Low or no zoning and residential building laws.

Top places are New Zealand, several South American countries, a couple of African countries have looked interesting, Oceania, several European places look nice as well.

I really just depends on how much I can enjoy myself without getting hassled by dumb ass laws.

I heard Sudan is lovely this time of the year.

No there are a couple of places like Uganda, that look interesting on the face.
Their anti gayness is a bit troubling though.

I've seriously considered moving to Israel but I don't have my family paperwork and likely won't ever have it to prove my Jewishness.

Somalia, obviously.

Somalia, obviously.

What area do you wish to live in?? The POLL! ;)

Where I live now, Grand Junction, Colorado. It's 76 F, the sun is shining, and I can see hills in every direction. From my desk I can see a large park where children play and the grass is as green as a pool table.

That's supposed to be one of the best places to live in the U.S.

Definitely... Far better than the smog clogged Los Angeles I moved from 20 years ago and haven't went back.

Much worse than the pollution here (which isn't that bad anymore) are the scumbag politicians that run this place.

you forgot the Caribbean. If you got the money it's can be a great place to live

Anywhere can be a good place to live with money.
