How many people will be at the 8.28 Restoring Honor Rally tomorrow in D.C.?

How many people will be at the Restoring Honor Rally?

  • Total voters
    16
  • Poll closed .
The park service does not do crowd estimates anymore, which makes it all the more fun.

Somewhere between 20,000 and 2,000,000 depending on who is counting and whether their agenda and rhetoric tilts left or right

for example my guesses for crowd size estimates according to foxnews and msnbc respectively:

FOX: 1.25 mil
MSNBC: 45,000

spud and Catz.....5,000 max? Seriously?

:lamo

why did you even make a option for guesses that would be only 1,000 max if you are going to be incredulous about 5,000 max?

Why not? Some people honestly think there will be 5,000 or less. I gave them the option of choosing that ridiculous answer. *shrug*

I think 1,000 is a very reasonable estimate...

...of the number of people shilling Beck paraphernalia at the event.

I haven't been paying attention to it. What are the park service's estimates? I don't seem to be able to make the google work for me on that topic.

The Park Service has refused to give "official" crowd estimates since the Offical Estimate of the Million Man March turned it into what could be called the Million Half-a-Man March, or the Five Hundred Thousand Man March.

The Race Baiters got really upset with the "dishonesty" (ahem) of the Park Service. Maybe the Park Service was using the old constitutional standard of measuring black people as 3/5 of a man? I don't know.

But the Park Service has decided that simple counting causes them more trouble from at least one side in every circus that comes to town, so they gave up.

Because the rest of it wasn't worth my time.

It was so not worth your time that you spent extra time making it go away.. how sweet of you to not care about my statement enough to go the extra mile to present it out of context :p

I think you are spamming.

The board is about debating politics. Not promoting your favorite TV personality.

This board is about more than politics. And I'm staying on the topic of this thread. How is that spamming? If you don't want to read it, don't click on the thread. *shrug*

All you are doing is promoting Beck.

BTW

*plonk*

spud, you do realize that traveling by bus isn't the only way to travel long distances, right? *pats spud on the head*

I'm promoting an event, yes. If you dislike the event or don't want to hear me promoting it, you understand that your hand isn't being forced to move your mouse and click on this thread. :)

and you do realise they are only the buses being offered, and that doesn't mean that'll be travelled in, right? *smiles and purrs from being patted*

Yes, honey. And you do realize that most all of the hotels are booked, flights coming in are 30%-50% full of people coming to the rally, the Kennedy Center tonight had 2,400 seats for those who came early (most people were turned away because the tickets were gone).....not to mention people coming in cars and trains.....

Still believe there will be a maximum of 5,000?
