Why aren't women happy???

True that there is not superman/woman... nobody can have it all. But you are correct that they have more choices than men do. That is the strange part, with more choices women should have a better chance to be happy, but that is not how it is apparently. Just look at Catz for example...

That is part of the delusion that women suffer from. Women are so complicated that they think that men are the problem when we are so simple it is ridiculous. We are like dogs, almost. Feed us. Sex us. Let us bath once in a while. Let us sleep and have some cave time. Happy. Damn, I'm happy just thinking of that simple list.

Women? Who the hell knows? It is this mood or that emotion. We don't ge the right eggs and it is a breakdown. This dress makes them look too fat and that one is for summer... man, I could go on forever! :)

Well, to be fair, I unknowingly married a paranoid delusional. She has so many webs covering her issues and nothing really was evident prior to getting married, but once we were... DAMN!! Life became crazy. That being said, I am obviously over generalizing. Men can and are as messed up as messed up women. Messed up or emotional is messed up or emotional, the person's sex is irrelevant. But! Men, in general, are pretty simple and women, in general, are pretty complicated. I think that is a fair generalization. I have had many many many MANY men AND women that agree with that statement.

Until you learn that people are all individuals, and are in no way defined by which type of genitalia they happen to be sporting, any attempted interactions with women on your part are destined to result in unhappiness, probably for both of you. You've got too much baggage, too much resentment.

Regarding snide... how was I snide in that post?

It is evident that women are unhappy every day. There is a reason that women earn the nick name "nags". They complain and complain... and when a person isn't sensitive in response, the man (person) gets blamed. Women are emotionally driven and illogical for the most part. Just look at Bdoops posts, they are driven by some inner anger that is conveyed in veiled insults.

I would agree that men, in general, are less complicated than women. Women tend to do more nonverbal communicating, which can make us seem more complicated, or make it difficult for us to interpret you. We tend to read things into our communication with men, which often simply aren't there, because women tend to have layers of meaning whenever we communicate with each other.

I wouldn't say that we are more EMOTIONALLY complex, but that our communication is more complex. I would say that the same things make me happy that make a man happy....a cold beer on the couch watching sports with my guy, a freshly mowed lawn, fixing something around the house, doing a good job on something at work, good sex, being with the person I love. I'm pretty simple, though.

My ex-husband was far more complicated than I am, full of all kinds of wants and needs, and extremely materialistic, all full of dreams that he had no idea how to accomplish. I'm happy driving an older 2001 Camry and knowing that I will pay off my house in five years and that I can feed my kids and take care of their needs.

I've basically raised my daughter to be the same way as me.

Of course they are. I've never said one thing that was funny or lighthearted or made people laugh on this board. You see what you want to see, dude. I'm not going to take your words to heart. You don't like women. Fine, I get that. Just don't have the nerve to act surprised when they return volley.

Glad you agree and I have yet to see you say one thing that was funny or lighthearted or made people laugh on this board. I see reality. I am very open and observant, to be honest. Reflective as well. I like women, whatever gave you the impression that I don't? That is a darn silly assessment, to be honest. I mean, the list of women that I like is pretty long, the list the I love or have loved is pretty long too. I am simply not sugar coating this, that's all. Catz is a super cool lady... I dig her big time. She's my lady friend. :2razz:

I learned a long time ago to not question why a woman is anything when it comes to emotions and thinking skills. All it does is make my head hurt in the end. There's just no ryhme or reason to em.

There is however one thing that I DO know about em. (besides the physical aspect of em. ;) )

You can't live with em...and ya can't live without em....and what ever you do...DO NOT PISS EM OFF!!!

I'd like to believe that people are individuals, but unfortunately all I see is samo, samo, with very little variation. 90 percent of people's lives are routines, only deviate when some new event gets their attention... Letters, family interaction, visitors, phone calls, posts, daily news, and breaks in repetitious work.
