as annoying as they can be, maddow and olbermann are far more intelligent than their counterparts on the right. but a little of them goes a long way. i like maddow better, but don't watch too much of that stuff.

I've seen Maddow a few times. I don't finds her annoying at all and she IS incredibly intelligent. She would destroy most on the right in a head to head debate.

"Nearly a million" isn't much in cable TV land.

And I'm thinking Rachel Maddow has him beat.

IDK, Maddow I know was beating him when her show first started but I don't think she kept those numbers up very long. Doesn't bother me either way, I like her much more than most other people on cable. She actually stays calm most of the time and talks about things fairly rationally for the most part.

If nearly a million wasn't much then CNN and MSNBC would be out of business.

I love it when Olby fans gets all bent out of shape when I mention his ratings stink.

Someone said he does things for ratings. I was simply pointing out that he's a failure. That's all.

I love it when people make stupid posts like this...

1) I am not an "Olby" fan. I stated earlier I think of him as a slightly funnier O'Reilly, and that is far from high praise.

2) I was not bent out of shape, merely pointing out the stupidity of your comments.

3) His ratings do not stink. He makes MSNBC money in his timeslot, that is not "stinking" ratings.

4) Calling some one who has achieved success in his field a "failure" is pure, outlandish, over the top spin. He is one of the more recognized and profitable TV people in the country in his field. Can you say the same?

5) This whole "My network rules, yours sucks" mentality that some have is really ridiculous.

I'd compare Ed Schultz with hannity cause when either of them laugh I want to jab my eardrums with sharp objects.

I always think of Schultz as a kind of Beck of the left. Facts be damned, just say what you want, and the other guys are trying to kill the country. And why can't we have a more civil atmosphere...

IDK, I can't think of a Beck of the left honestly. If you find some guy on the left that thought Bush was out to kill him then whoever that is gets my vote. I just don't see the fear mongering on the left wing shows that I see on Beck.

That couldn't possibly be because you agree with the left-wing "fear-mongering" and not the right-wing "fear-mongering," and thus think the left-wing fearmongering is "the truth" -- could it?

Here are a couple of things people have said:

"George W. Bush is evil. He is a terrorist. He is evil. He is arrogant. And he is out of control." -- Julianne Malveaux

As a pundit he sometimes makes good points, but he is so over the top that it ruined it for me. I stopped watching him after moving out from my dorm Freshman year (my roommate was in love with him and Chris Matthews.) That said the dude totally ruined Sunday Night Football for me, therefore I hate him with a deep passion.

Nope, that ain't it.

Don't get me wrong, there's idiots everywhere and their's hyperpartisans everywhere, but noone does it quite like Beck.

Ah, Julianne Malveaux. She IS a treasure.

So who is she?

Sadly, there's even worse than Beck out there on both sides. He is probably just the most famous of the bunch.

I'm sure there is, but if their not famous I really don't care about them. I could point out that there's a guy preaching on the street corner thats crazier than Beck, but he only spreads his crazy around on one street corner, where Micheal Moore and Beck and their ilk get millions to watch that garbage, and believe it, lol.

The one's I'm thinking about are like C-list celebs.

Keith Olbermann said at one point that Fox News is worse than al Qaeda.

Put that on the list as one of the stupidest quotes of all time.
