What Woman is More Attractive?

Which Woman is More Attractive?

Avril looks more genuine.

It would've been better if either the names went in order of the pictures OR the name accompanied each picture, but fortunately I know who each of these beauties are.

So, for those who don't know (in case it hasn't been clarified) in the order they appear in the OP:

1. Ellen Page
2. Emma Watson
3. Avril Lavigne
4. Shania Twain
5. Taylor Swift

My choice: Shania Twain

Ellen Page and Emma Watson would come in 2nd and 3rd, respectively. I don't like Avril's eyes and Taylor has this Barbie Doll look about here...doesn't set well with me for some reason though she is attractive. She just looks too much like a kid to me. I prefer an older, more mature look.

Avril has stopped being hot when she's stopped being a minor.

Mentally speaking, of course.

They're all beautiful. It's not like I'd turn up my nose at any of them just based on looks.

Ellen Page is just a naturally beautiful young woman though. She has something that the others don't, with the possible exception of Emma Watson. Hard to define exactly... "beauty that needs no artifice" is as close as I can explain it.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the prevalence of anorexia in the US is 0.1%.
According to the WHO, an average of 218 Americans per year die of anorexia.

Meanwhile, according to the CDC, there are approximately 300,000 obesity-related deaths annually in the US.

To recap: around 200 people per year die of anorexia, while around 300,000 people per year die of obesity.

Obesity rates in the US are among the highest in the world, with 64% of American adults being medically overweight, while 26% of those are clinically obese.

To recap: 64% of Americans clinically obese or overweight, 0.1% of Americans anorexic.

Just because it's "normal" to be fat and sick in the US doesn't mean it's right.
What is normative is not always right.

The problem is not with thin people.

Anorexia is a problem if you have it and I do not buy those numbers. I suspect that the majority of models we see in media or on runways have this or some form of an eating disorder.

Anorexia is a hidden secret that people need to wake the hell up over.

I think you only bash people who are bigger beause you look as if you suffer from anorexia.

I thought they were all attractive women. I am honestly mystified by 1069's post, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

In fairness a lot of anorexia goes undiagnosed, especially in hollywood and the modeling industry where unhealthily thin proportions are the expected norm without directly saying to diet. A cousin that I met for the first time a few years ago in Toronto flew there to visit some modeling agencies. Keep in mind that she is skinny... I mean, normally underweight as it is. They told her that she has an attractive face but she needs to go on a diet. They acknowledged that real women don't look that way, but the modeling industry doesn't go by what real women look like.

I watched a program a while back - I can't remember the name of it for the life of me - but it talked about the size zero phenomenon in Europe but also addressed hollywood actresses. The program showed some before and after shots of actresses, comparing how they looked when they first landed in the hollywood scene versus how they looked after they became well known veterans. I remember one of them was Keira Knightley. The difference is pretty shocking, but camera work creates an illusion of normalcy.

I can safely say that with a few exceptions, almost every woman I have ever known has had body image issues. None were clinically anorexic, but they all, at some point, were starving themselves for periods of time.

Do you mean now, or when they were at their prime? Avril Lavigne was hotter when she was a teenager...and Shania didn't even become famous until she was over 30, so it's not really fair to compare her to the younger chicks.

I would rank them like this:
1. Ellen Page
2. Emma Watson
3. Avril Lavigne
4. Taylor Swift
5. Shania Twain

But I'd **** any of them.

What do you think of Christina Hendrix?

No problem. Harry, you get to keep Christina for yourself. ;)

I ain't straight, so my opinion is based on aesthetic beauty rather than sex appeal, but I think Penelope Cruz beats all those on the list, well those that I have heard of at least. I have no idea who Ellen Page or Taylor Swift are.

Which woman is More attractive????

Emma Watson?
Avril Lavigne?
Shania Twain?
Ellen Page?
Taylor Swift?

Hey you didn't have "woman in the kitchen cooking", "Woman vacuuming the floor" or "woman bringing a sandwich or a beer" on that "Which woman is More attractive?" poll. Women are the most attractive when their are in their natural environment or doing things that women should be doing. Just kidding. All the women on the list are pretty hot but I think Shania Twain is the most attractive out of all of them.
