Birther roll call

Are you a Birther?

Why should I? Your the one who explained that his political beliefs are summed up by three words.

You missed the part where I said 'so long as...' More than 3 words. That last part could be put into a lot of words if I were to cite every circumstance one was infringing on another's life, liberty and property.

For instance I'm anti-abortion because I believe in the infant/fetus' rights too. Redistribution infringes on one's property rights. etc. There's more than 3 words and more than this.

To answer the poll question: Nope.

Comments:

I at one point thought the whole "not a natural born citizen" bit was a possibility, until further info and knowledge convinced me it was far more likely not.

The way I look at it, if the claims of Pres Obama being ineligible for the presidency are true, a crapload of political and government people have to know about it and not be doing a damn thing...

So we would be screwed anyway, thus no reason to get all worked up about a slim possibility (and when I say "slim", I mean something like a 0.000000000000000000001% chance), when the gov corruption that even allows the possibility to enter peoples minds in any great number is a FAR greater threat/issue

But whatever.

Umm ok.. I can see why you would take my comment personally given your forum name. I don't think I have made any ridiculous suggestion such as the president not deserving the job.. because of a fake wacko extreme right wing flaky argument that is actually only supposed to have wacko right wing support it. Anyone that claims they are libertarian can be viewed as being extremist like it or not. Libertarians account for the Tea Party wacko groups.

No and yes.. not really a derailment considering the strongest supporters of Obama not being a legitimate contender for the Presidents office(or Birther whichever you prefer.) are Tea Party advocates .. who happen to be overwhelmingly libertarian. Just sayin.

Do you have proof of this or are you just making crap up?

I believe that a person should be held to the Constitutional requirments for the office they seek.

Does that make me a birther?

Only if you incessantly go on and on about the birth certificate of the president of the United States endlessly even in face of the facts presented as though you had a legitimate argument.

FactCheck.org: Born in the U.S.A.

Update, Nov. 1: The director of Hawaii’s Department of Health confirmed Oct. 31 that Obama was born in Honolulu.

That can't possibly be the original or even a copy of the original. (fresh paper, computer fonts, etc)

I am already on record in other forums of saying I believe Obummer (the job killer) is a citizen,.... Though I would like to see it confirmed.

This (to me) wouldn't suffice. I would have to also see his birth record (mother's medical records for example) unless he could produce the original (now 40+ years old) certificate. (You should see mine)

Chuz, if the legal document certified by the appropriate authorities does not suffice, the problem is on your end.

Dear lord, your a birther.

Do you know how many illegal aliens are now roaming about the U.S. with fake birth certificates and the like?

Trust but verify,... ya know what I'm sayin?

Polling suggests that about 52% identify as Republican, 40% as Independents, and 6% as Democrat.

Right.. so your saying the libertarians are non existent? Am I missing something here? It just goes to prove the fact that republicans are overwhelmingly libertarian.

That's not out of the realm of possibility.

I'd say your account neglected a large group of people .. even so far as to not be included in the realm of choices they were presented.

How many of those illegal aliens have documents certified by state officials when questioned?

And since President Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. meets those requirements, you shouldn't have a problem, then.

Now, would my fellow conservatives please lay off this rediculous line of thought and focus on the issues we disagree with the President on? This birther nonsense takes focus on real issues and legitimate disagreements on policy we have with the president.

It's not my account. Multiple polls have shown the same trends for make-up of the tea partiers. People who self-identify as libertarians are a very small minority. My guess is that this is due to the legalization issue, unfortunately. With the two major parties, there are some who identify with either fiscal or social policies of the respective parties, and some who agree with both. In my observation, Libertarians identify with their party platform much more consistently, but then, since it's such a small party, that is not surprising. My point is that it's not an overwhelmingly Libertarian movement at all. There is probably a significant number of Republicans in the movement who have libertarian tendencies when it comes to fiscal issues and size of government, but they still identify as republican, and I would wager a bet that they are conservative in social issues.

I honestly believe he is a citizen.

BUT...

I wouldn't put it past these certain 'legal authorities' with an agenda to help anyone into the government that they saw fit regardless of where they were born. He is right, that doesn't look like his original. It's something I could easily put together in photoshop. For those who don't believe he is a citizen, I'm not surprised they don't take this as proof.

Here's an edited copy. Could be better, but didn't have time to find the perfect font and do the perfect edit. There's also the posibility they could put that together in word and print it on that paper.

I propose that the birther movement be renamed to "Sucking on Orly's T(a)itz".
