Electronic license plates - good idea?

Sounds more like a trojan horse for more Government control and spending if you ask me. I would however like to get into the business of turning my car into an advertisement; if I'm the one that gets paid for it anyways.
 
Well they do the need the money but damn. I mean those blue type headlights people are allowed to use on cars now annoy me so flashing light LP's would really piss me off:)

Totally ridiculous suggestion.
I guess it is merely being proposed as a distraction from what they actually are going to overtax.
Certainly they are not overtaxing their brains, the one sure way to reduce their bloated debt is to cut baby cut all these goodies given to illegals and their offspring.
In addition, until such time as the Budget is balanced ALL Politicians in office should be made to take a Pay Cut.
 
Electronic number plates are too high maintenance, will probably become easy as chips to hack somewhere down the line and change the numbers.....smash easily.
