The Political Compass - Test

I know this has already been done on this forum but I was told that the other thread is old and hard to find so I created a new one.

Heres mine:

The difference between the two tests is that Political Compass measures morality politics by specific hot-button issues-- and I take liberal positions on abortion and homosexuality-- while Moral Politics measures morality on two axes: Moral Rules and Moral Order, in which I score highly on both.

I consider myself a Center Authoritarian.

It put me right about where I consider myself to be.

The second one put me pretty much dead center.

Do you have anybody but republicans and democrats in Congress or the Senate? And, when was the last time you did have a non-repdem?

We have the occasional Independent in the Legislature. Don't know if we have one now or not, but I know we did a handful of years ago.

Now I know...............

New?

This loaded push poll style "graph" and the accompanying loaded questions, deliberately designed to make everyone seem to be "libertarians," has been around over a decade that I know of. The first time I saw it was in 1998. If it had a real basis in reality, there wouldn't be a single Dem or Rep in government.

I'm not to sure about my results. I would say I am more conservative then I am liberal. I think some of the questions were kinda misleading or inaccurate.

I also got this on the moral politics test

Oddly, I have shifted a bit to the right on the first one. I blame Jallman.

Not "Libertarian Party" libertarian. Just Libertarian as opposed Authoritarian. They aren't the same thing. :)

Usually I get one box right of center, one box up. This time, on some of the questions that I don't think have an answer, since they don't offer an "irrelevant" option, I picked the opposite of what I normally would, agree or disagree, and got one box right and one box down. Probably in reality, I'm right on the line, one box to the right.

What am I doing wrong here, I can't get the pics to display using either the URL link or the Pic link...

I'm quite aware of the difference, BG. However, after reading some of the posts on this board, it's abundantly clear that a fairly large share of those claiming to be "libertarians," aren't even close. Would it be fair to say that an overwhelming percentage of those who call themselves "Tea Party" consider themselves to be "libertarians." I'd suggest you explain the difference to them, not me. Most of them want a cafeteria style of it. They want to there to be "complete individual freedom," that is, just as long as you agree with them on everything. If you don't...

Not so much. No "complete individual freedom" for you.
