If it's in a peer reviewed medical journal, I'd be more apt to believe it. I'm all for the legalization of marijuana, I just don't think we need to pretend it to be a miracle cure. It is what it is, it's a relatively "safe" drug that people should be free to use or avoid at their own discretion.
 
You don't need some silly excuse to legalize it. There is not reason it should be illegal in the first place. Use it for any reason.
 
If it cures cancer, it's probably because it helps people chill out and stress less, thus increasing the immune response.;)
 
A distant relative of mine had cancer and her daughter convinced her to smoke marijuana to help. A while later, her cancer was gone. No proof that it was the marijuana that cured her, but it makes me think...

I think you should be honest about why you want pot legal instead of trying to hide some BS medical reasons or industrial reasons(I was under the impression that recreational Marijuana and hemp were considered two different plants by most knowledgeable stoners). I seriously doubt that you or any other stoner give a rats ass about medicinal marijuana(unless you are in California where you can make up a bull**** excuse and get a prescription for it) and industrial hemp.
