Dennis Miller is intelligent and cultured. You can tune into his show without worrying about hearing talking points or typical Republican blather. He's no talking-head, he's original and honest.

I agree, although he hasn't had a really funny show in awhile. When Pat first started working for him on radio, their shows were HILARIOUS. Much more serious now.

I watched him back in the day when he had his own show on HBO. But that was when he was focusing more on being funny and entertaining than being political and opinionated. Then again, I was a teenager when I watched him, so maybe it was my tastes who changed. Nevertheless, I don't wish any ill will on Dennis Miller. Without him, "The Net" would be a totally different movie.

I think the reason Mellie tried to limit participation in this thread to people who listen to talk radio and want to talk about their favorite host was probably to try to head off trolling the thread with baiting/goading comments like yours. Back to the topic, I also listen to Mike Gallager if he is on the air while I'm out and about. But my favorite is Dennis Prager, my least favorite and one I won't listen to even at gunpoint is Sean Hannity!:shock:
 
I don't think you necessarily have to be a regular listener of conservative radio to have a preference in it.

That's like telling someone they can't have a favorite Ferrari because they don't own one.

Michael Medved is my favorite, he is thoughtful, intelligent, polite, and he has the best guest. After him Laura Ingraham.
I can't stand Rush or Sean Hanity.

I thought afterwards that I should've added Michael Medved. He always has very interesting shows, but I can't seem to find him on any stations around here.

Does G Gordon Liddy still have a show? He was pretty good despite the way he said Mercedes-Benz:mrgreen: Saw him live about 15 -16 years ago in Cincinnati. He was very entertaining and suprisingly even handed with some barking loons in the audience
